I can't believe it. . . we pick the one restaurant in New Orleans that had closed!!

LOL!!!
I'm okay and back in lovely Picayune, Mississippi. . . I left here this afternoon with what I thought was plenty of time to get to Metarie and meet Donna at 4 at
Mike Anderson's Seafood Restaurant. It's about a 40 mile drive, and I get into Louisiana and start heading over the bridge across Lake Poncetrain, and it started raining so hard I could barely see the road, and the traffic, which was bumper-to-bumper, slows down to a crawl. . .
I get through New Orleans like that and into Metarie. . . it's still pouring rain. . . I was about 30 minutes late, and I go to where the restaurant was supposed to be, only it's not there. .

Like a responsible person, I had written the address down along with Donna's cell#. . . and like me, I walked out and forgot it. . . :sigh:
So thinking I'd remembered the address wrong, I drove up and down the street looking for the place, then finally pulled into a gas station and looked up the adress in the phone book. . and the only
Mike Anderson's listed was on Bourbon St. . .
So, I grabbed a couple roast beef po-boys and headed back. . I suspected that Donna was trying to lure me to Bourbon St., and now that i see she took a bath and everything, I'm sure of it!!!!
