I was super sad about turning old, but then I booked a Disney vacation!

I'm going to be 30 in January and I'm not really very thrilled about it, to be honest.

But then I did a little research and found cheap airfare to Orlando-Sanford and a deal on a rental car. And THEN I found out about Disney's "Stay, Play, and Dine" deal going on. Needless to say, it was an easy decision to book a long weekend at Disney! As you can see from my sig, we're staying at Pop this time and I am excited to check out a value resort as I have previously stayed at moderate and deluxe.

I didn't really have a purpose to this post other than to get my excitement out to people who are sure to understand!

The 30's are the best decade of my life. Sadly, i turn 40 next year :sad2: I've created a 'stuff to do before i turn 40' list. luckily going to Disney for the first time in 12 years will be checked off in 2 months! :woohoo:

I think it was my best decade too! I had never been to either WDW or DL before I turned 30. I turn 39 in June and I've been to WDW 8 times now and DL 3 times! WDW trip #9 coming up in 27 days!

Try turning 55. Oh well at least I now am eligible to retire but can't because 28 service years won't pay the bills. At least I have options.

Congrats on your milestone b/d and enjoy your trip.
