then the tears started. So so sad but at least they died doing what they loved!

My tears started with the hymns.

I thought it was nice how the audience applauded as the families of the astronuats were leaving. A show of support to them.

:( I cried throughout the whole ceremony, but the tears really flowed when I saw the children's faces.........I gave my little one and extra hug and kiss before her naptime today

The flyover is what got to me too, although I didn't realize it was the mssing man formation. I also was very moved by the applause for the families as they left the service.

It was heartrending, the missing man formation is so touching.

I couldn't watch or attend -- had the opportunity, but just couldn't do it. Memorials make me more upset than they do comfort me. I don't need to be more upset.

It was the childrens faces that got me....
I lost my dad when I was 15, and I feel so bad for them.

Sorry I was sick with the flu and didnt get a chance to see it, what happened?

When he rang the bell seven times, that's when I got teary-eyed. When the flyover came right after, then I grabbed the tissue. :( And, I had to watch it twice! Once at home and, then the repeat on CLTV at my Mom's. :(

I thought the moment where Geroge W gave the son of the commander his handkerchief was touching. I too had trouble seeing the faces of those children!
