I was impressed but I'm sure others were not

On Thursday (11/17) we did the Wishes cruise and we left from the Poly. After it was over, we took the monorail to MK (which had an 8pm close) so we could take the bus back to Pop. The crowds for the buses were pretty large for some resorts and not for others. We were walking all the way back to where the Pop pick up is only to find out the end of the line was at the front of the bus pick ups! The line started at #11 and Pop is #17! I was blown away with how long the line was but the line was always moving and they were double loading buses the whole time. Lots of people were complaining, but I have to say I was impressed and they were doing the best they could. As soon as a bus pulled out another one pulled in and I'd say %75 of the time they were double loading.

Oh and some ladies tried cutting the line, let me tell you, I'd rather jump in a lake with an alligator than try and cut people waiting for the bus at the end of the night!

It always amazes me the people that "play dumb" and try to cut the line. Really, you can't see all of these people standing here waiting?

Great attitude! Sometimes things aren't perfect but if you can see there is effort (double loading buses) then going with the flow and being understanding is a great approach. I wonder what the people who were complaining expected? There's only so much room for buses at one time.

In case anyone was wondering it took 33 mins for us to get through the line. It worked out well because we could see the Water Pagent!

Even with that, I still say Pop has the best transportation. We've never waited as long as you did on 11/17, but there have been plenty of times when they've been double loading busses. Works well. Complainers should go get a taxi -- and see how long that takes by the time you get to the TTC, etc.

Same thing happened to us a few years ago. Made the rookie mistake of leaving the park right after Wishes only to find about 300 people in line ahead of us. However, after about five minutes when we looked back there had to have been twice that many behind us!! People were jumping the fence to get ahead in the line. I was impressed too that the buses were coming two at a time and it wasn't really that long a wait and yes, we got to watch the water parade while we waited.

My only problem was that my 6 year old fell fast asleep in my arms and I mean out cold, no waking her up to walk at all! Had to call Daddy to meet us at the bus stop at Pop (he was at a conference) because I just couldn't take another step with her in my arms. And even that was a learning experience for my then 10 year old because the next night when there was a lady on the bus with us whose son was out cold in her arms my dd took the ladies stroller for her so she could carry her son easier....proud mommy moment.

Lesson learned...the next night we hung out in the park taking pictures and listened to the "kiss goodnight"...Pop bus was a walk on. Have taken my time leaving the park every time since.

My son fell asleep inline too (the one night we didn't bring the stroller!) so we played pass the sleeping child. Thank goodness there was a lot of adults in our group!
