We saw he in concert at the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo many yrs ago...She was wonderful. i have always been a fan.

I am glad to hear that she is on the concert circuit again...I was standing in line at the grocery store and one of the headlines in a gossip paper said she had been ill...of course we all know how realiable those papers are....She has been through a lot in recent yrs....I love the movie The Coal Miner's Daughter.

My sister went to Kentucky a couple of weeks ago and went to the town that part of the film was made. It was near "Butcher Holler".

I forgot the town name off the top of my head, but she talk to the folks that were in the movie. They paid the whole town. They are very proud of that.

As a side note...she said traveling around the "Hollers" was like going to the "hood" in the city, if not worse.
They shoot first.

Her DH's extended family lives there.
