I was BAD today....Crocs related

We found a place here in Asheville that sells Crocs about $2 cheaper than anybody else around.....and as they are a store that sells all natural kinds of products, they throw in a free bar of their all natural wonderful soap. Now, we use the soap anyway and just love it so the free bar is great for us and about a $4.50 value. Well, Lisa and I went by today for one pair of Crocs each.....and I came home with 3!!!!! They had red, purple and the new Athens flip flops in light blue......3 colors that I have been wanting and not finding for a LONG time. We now have enough soap to last us the next 3 months.......

This has to stop.........LOL

Well---we went and found them just the other day...we both got the navy blue..thinking they didnt look that bad,,,well after ONE day of wearing them,,,,we are off to get them,,in black, red, and I want that TINKERBELL LIME GREEN ..we LOVEEEEEEEEEe these shoes!!!!!!

LOL.....yes they are pretty big and I forgot to mention that we bought other pairs of crocs there and got more free soap, plus if you buy three bars they throw in an extra bar free anyway. We needed soap the last time we bought crocs so now we have 8 bars in reserve.


Damo---- I LOVE the flip flops...and I am really not a flop wearing kind of gal. The thingie between your toes is really soft and not irritating like lots of other flops. Also, there is heel support, which I really need.

Excellent. I think I will invest in a few pairs. I love the heel support in the Crocs but can't wear the normal ones because they are way too wide for my feet.

Are crocs an actually name brand of those types of shoes or just a general name for them? I am not very familiar with them. They sell something that looks the same at walmart here but I have never really looked into buying them. I think they are ugly but everyone seems to like them.

"Crocs" are a brand name, but there are tons of knock offs around. Walmarts are among the worst. I tried on all the cheaper brands before buying my Crocs. I agree that they are not the most attractive shoe I have ever worn, but the are by far the most comfortable. I work a job where I have the potential to be on my feet and busy for up to 15 hours at a time and when I am wearing my Crocs, my feet do not hurt at all. Any other shoe and I am in pain after about 10 hours. Crocs are softer then most of the cheaper brands. They cushion your feet better than most of the cheaper brands.

I am now a die hard Crocs fan!

Are the Athens as thick-soled as the other types of Crocs? They look thinner in the pictures.
