Has anyone else had to leave a credit card deposit for the Storybook breakfast? I thought it was just Cindy's that did this? I just made a ps this morning and was told that it is now required.

Hey, I just noticed that I am a Dis veteran now!!!! Yippie for me! Now I need to be tagged by the fairy!:)

I don't know about the Storybook breakfast, but for Mothers Day breakfast at Crystal Palace I was asked for one. I think it is because they must be in such demand that they want to assure people will come. Some people make ps for places and never show up for one reason or another, but it's a table that could have been filled if they would have called and cancelled. I think that by taking a credit card it either guarantee's Disney that either you will show up or you will cancel.

I know that I am rambling and probably not making much sense, but I hope you get get the gist of what I am saying.

Did you try to make a PS on a holiday? I was told by a CM that you have to leave a credit card for any PS (for any restaurant) that was made for a holiday. I was making one for Easter. Does that make sense?

I made a PS for PSB 4 days ago and was not asked for a credit card.

WDW Dining has required a credit card for all major holidays on all PS for a couple of years now. And, yes, WDW considers Mother's Day a major holiday. As far as I know, that's the only time one would need a credit card hold for PSB.

No, it wasn't a holiday, but it was for a party of 13. Maybe that was why? I'm just surprised because I have been making PS's all week for our upcoming trip for different restaurants and for the same number of people. This was the first time I was asked for a credit card deposit. I guess it's no big deal as long as it's applied to our bill.

I just made a PS for 10 of us for our July trip and was NOT asked for CC. Sorry.
Lisa

Your cc won't be charged unless you don't show up.
