My family went to Orlando in December and spent 2 days at Universal Studios and 1 day at Islands of Adventure.

I posted a reply on the Trip Reports board and said the same thing as Jess- Awesome report! I wish I had the computer savvy to do one like it! But I could never get my kids to strike all of those poses. My boy and girl can't get too close, right now, without fighting. Your family looks FUN!

It is a bit of work to get the report out there like that, but I don't mind cause I can kinda relive it one day at a time

I'm very proud of my kids. They rarely fight-they like to wrestle instead

It's the first time I had ever seen it! It is a very nice place.
My Mom has stayed there many times.

Yeah, we re-greased Dec. 28 thru Jan. 2. I'm too lazy to change my countdown timer but it will most likely be a "Break" in our "Spring" that will need to be greased next.
I cherish the fact that my kids still want to do things with me because we all have fun and I see that in your family. That is a rarity with teenagers and its a blessing.

Why no microwave at SOG? I thought all the rooms were supposed to have them, and we'll be there in a couple weeks.

Your vacation looked great. We're doing the same in reverse, Universal, then SOG.

We're going to BWI, and we might go to CSR, too for business stuff.

Not sure why there's no microwave, just know that there is none
We had coffee, we bribed housekeeping into throwing us some extra packs each day and we grabbed alot of sugar when we were in the restaurants. (2 packets is nowhere near enough for 8 people) We used the cooler and fridge for milk and beverages and stocked the cabinets with ready to eat stuff. We did ok with it, but it would make such a difference adding that one appliance to the suite

We visited MK & MGM while at CSR. I was really impressed with Coronado Springs. It's a beautiful resort with a cool pool and good food.

Mine was 2 years in the planning, it was all over so fast & now I have my pictures set up as a screensaver so I can look at them every day
