If any of you have partners like me that work and travel around the country and have to stay in numerous hotels then you might be inerested to know that holiday inn have a reward card and every night you stay at one wether its you or your company that pays you are awarded points you can also get bonus points for staying so many nights in a week .......and we all know what points make dont we lol....well my hubby has been collecting his points and we were looking a few weeks ago as to what they can be spent on and there are loads of things and its not just hotels it can be used on eletrical things like bose speakers and so on ,well after looking we booked our 5 night trip to disney 2 adults and 2 kids staying at the holiday inn with our points costing us an incredible £000.00 yep that right zero all its cost us so far is the eurostar . I wanted to let you all know and hope that this maybe useful to some of you if i can help more then feel free to ask ....... oh and we are even using the left over points for the hotel in london the night before .

Lucky you! That's even cheaper than my Sun £9.50 holiday that's taking us in October!

I love getting things for free - great stuff :thumbsup2

I know their reward program and I am using it but you need between 10-25 nights in Holiday Inns until you get one night free.
If you only stay one night then you only get a limited amount of points. But if you stay 6 nights in a row than you get a lot of bonus points which can bring you much faster to a free night.

If your husband had enough points for 5 free nights then he must have spent many many nights at Holiday Inn’s? ;-)

I think the Marriott run a similar scheme. Don't know how many nights I would have to stay there to get a free one - probably alot!

Sadly we have stayed about 12 free nights at the HI DLP, but indeed it took many nights away from my family to do it.

Once we spent a grand total of £200 for 5 days at DLP for a family of 4.

We already had our APs. HI was free. And using Tesco clubcard points, the Eurotunnel crossing was free. We bought a crate of drinks from Costco. so the cost was road tolls, Diesel and food. It was fantastic.

Marriott does it too, but it is very hard to get in for free as owners like my family book our villa 12 months in advance, leaving very few available units, and even then, they are often rented out, but not given as free nights as the Marriott Loyalty scheme tends to exclude Vacation Club accommodations.

One benefit of 100 nights a year in a hotel room means free/cheap holidays.

hi all

my hubby was told to sign up to bonus point on the website ,he stays away on average about 2 to 3 night a week sometimes more sometimes less but he has not had to stay 6 nights to get bonus points he has stayed 2 and 3 nights and been awarded 10 -20 thousand bonus points plus if you stay away so many nights in the month i think you get extra
