Looooving the haaaaair!
I love putting red streaks into my hair, but yes it's a pain to take care of. I use a shampoo and conditioner that I get from Whole foods, good for color treated hair, works really well. Sulfate free too.
Thanks! I love it too. It is a pain to take care of, but it's been okay so far. Whole Foods is definitely a great option for that kind of stuff, I always forget about it.
the HM inspired makeup would be awesome! Something with purple shadow with a smokey look on top of it (thinking of the wall paper)....oooooo! That would look awesome! Especially with your red hair!!
To bad there aren't any templates for the demask design over the wall paper inside the mansion, that would look pretty cool. Maybe some black lacey earrings to go with?

Sorry!
I got carried away.
Hahaha, you're so funny! The earrings are beautiful. I have to dig through my own collection and see if I have anything like it.
I certainly am thinking seriously about doing a HM look.
I really loved your platinum hair but I'm totally digging the red too!
I wish I was brave enough to go for the all red look, I just don't think I can pull it off.
I will ask you this...how do you do your brows? They look great! No matter what I do to mine I feel like I dyed them black and look like a total clown.
Yours look amazing, any tips or video's you watch would be great. I'm a Rachael junky when it comes to watching make-up tutorials. Doesn't mean I do my makeup that way.
But you are right, watching the tutorials can give you some amazing ideas. I like watching the Disney inspired one's.
Thanks again, you're so sweet! I'm a firm believer in trying what you want and see how it works out. You can always go back to your normal color when stuff doesn't work out. That's how I always approach everything. LOL.
Okay, here is how I do my brows. I don't have a video that I particularly watch, I just do what I feel comfortable with.
I use a medium blonde to light brown color to start, simply because my hair is light and my brows are light to begin with. I don't want to look stupid by coloring them in too much.

I use a pencil first. Ones that are really good are from Anastasia Beverly Hills, those are my favorite. More affordable decent ones are from Milani or from Maybelline.
I fill my brows in with the pencil first, regardless of the color of my hair. It builds a base.
OHHHHH, an important thing to note is that I take my eyeshadow primer up through my brows too. It helps them to stay all day then.
Anyway, I use the pencil and I fill them in using short strokes. The strokes I do in the direction of the hairs. It helps them to look more natural. Keep the strokes short and light. That prevents you from adding too much color too soon. It's much easier to build the color slowly than to take away from adding too much.
One of the things I do also is that I add color to the tops and bottoms of my brows, very slowly and carefully. Like creating an outline, without it being an actual outline. Cause literally outlined brows would be stupid.

But adding the color adds definition. I then use a spoolie to brush out the hairs a little bit and prevent any harsh lines.
After that, with the current color I have in my hair now, I literally take a red eyeshadow from an eyeshadow palette that is similar to the color of my hair. I use a small angled brush and I pretty much do the same thing with the shadow that I do with the pencil. Small strokes to distribute the color throughout. That way, they don't look only red, the brown is mixed in also.
Lastly (dude, seriously, my brows take me like 2 minutes total), I take a flesh toned cream eyeshadow (it has to be flesh toned and matte) and I use an angled brush to essentially clean up under my eyebrows a little. It adds a stronger line and it makes them look very crisp.
Holy novel there! However, I hope that helps.
I'm all caught up finally! This TR is cracking me up! Your family reminds me so much of my own. Your being late because of 7 people update concerns me because this trip I'm going with 11 and I can only imagine everyone getting ready lol! Joaquin is something else, those faces! How awesome that you have 3 trips planned next year! We will just be missing each other in Jan!
Great updates!!
Thanks and

!
It's definitely a bit of a challenge to get that many people out the door, but we didn't have many major problems. Except this one of course.
I hate just missing DIS friends on trips, because then I'm like "awwwww" about not being able to meet people.
All caught up !! Loving the boys' reactions to Ariel. Maybe next time you need to bring some cootie spray .... just in case.
Susan
Ohhhhh, cootie spray. Excellent idea.
