I Want to Sell Tee-Tee to Other People!!! - July 2013 TR *UPDATE 4/29 pg. 73*

Awesome trips you have lined up! We'll miss you by a week in May.

I can only assume Joaquin is going over the mental checklist for his world domination scheme.

Wow all of your upcoming trips sound amazing!! :cool1: May and November are my 2 favorite times to go! And I've always wanted to try January, it seems like a nice uncrowded time to go! :dance3:

HAHAHA I can't wait to see what the guesses will be.

They're pretty good, I have to say. :rotfl:

OMG, so many trips coming up! Flower and Garden and Food and Wine, so awesome.

I'm an accountant too, but apparently much more fiscally responsible than you :rotfl: Good luck with studying :)

Joaquin's face is amazing here... I'm going to say he's thinking about that foot-across Mickey rice krispie treat, or some sort of other treat!

Hahaha. :rotfl: I'm actually pretty fiscally responsible normally. And for us, we are already AP holders (deeply discounted last year due to DVC) and DVC members, so if we play our cards right, trips aren't really that bad for us. All I have to come up with is the ability to eat and to get down there successfully. And in January, we're actually driving, and my Dad has a Volkswagon Diesel, so we're only going to end up spending $250 round trip for gas. Split between the three of us. How can you pass that up!? :rotfl:

:cool1: Woo Hoo! DIS meet! I'll be leaving sometime on the 18th so pencil something in for your arrival day. We definitely need to meet! :thumbsup2

How he is going to get a second Darth Vader cupcake from Starring Rolls.

You've got some great trips planned and everything is so nicely spaced. I love that. And yay  for an impromptu January trip. That sounds like a ton of fun!

Oh, we will definitely see each other on our arrival day! We're trying to actually fly down on the 16th after work, so we'll would be there for a full day on the 17th. I'm so excited!

Ohhhh, second Darth Vader cupcake. My face would look like that too!

January just kind of happened. I was crunching numbers, we talked about doing it as inexpensive as we could, and I couldn't resist the price honestly.

Someone just asked him if he wants a Mickey ice cream bar??

He definitely does look like he's going to eat something, doesn't he?

With 3 trips it sounds like 2014 will be a great year for you :thumbsup2

Yesterday after they announced the dates for Flower and Garden we picked the same week in May, in hopes of catching both that and Star Wars Weekends :)

So we'll overlap! Maybe we'll cross paths or have the opportunity to meet up. You and Caitlin remind me so much of my Mom and I.

I actually chose that week when I forecasted it based on that exact same reasoning. I wanted F&G and Star Wars weekends. We're sad, aren't we? :rotfl:

Girl, you and I keep going on this collision course, yet we never collide! We get so close.

Doesn't he already dominate the world though? ;)

I'm so excited. It will be an epic Disney year.

I love November, because the weather is so good, the crowds are lower, and you just can't lose! I haven't been in May since 2009. When we were essentially rained out. It was the worst rain I've ever seen down there. My Mom and I were so bummed after that trip.

YAY for mega trips!!!! :cool1:

Hmmm, I'm thinking Joaquin just got the offer of a lifetime to sell "Tee Tee".

Absolutely! And it was not planned when Katt sent us that message either. I was like "it was meant to be". ;)

And apparently Joaquin got a much better price for Tee Tee than he originally anticipated.....

so happy to be going three times next year. After missing out on going twice I think I deserve it :cool1::cool1:

I love to read you like November! I am going for my first real November trip this year. I hope I don't have a ton of rain. I was hoping to rent DVC points, but it looks like I'll be at Pop. =\

As for that Joaquin-face, I think he's being presented with an unsavory item. A turkey leg, perhaps? Or a pirate!!!

You DO deserve it! And I hope you enjoy it!!!

So happy for you to have 3 trips planned.....sad for me that none of them will overlap with us:sad2: Oh well....maybe 2015 will be our year!

As someone who will have done three trips in 2013, I must say you are definitely making an excellent choice to go three times next year :thumbsup2 I went in January and loved it. Perfect weather, not too crowded. And doing F&G AND F&W will be so great!

We left off having just had lunch at Restaurantasaurus. Tummies full, we decided that we were going to take the boys to ride Triceratop Spin.

Well, that was the plan at least. Until we saw a little black raincloud heading our direction.

If only that little black raincloud was really Pooh. We decided instead that we would head in to see Finding Nemo, since the show was starting in 10 minutes, and it started to look less like a "little" black rain cloud. I had to go to the bathroom first, and I told everyone that I would meet them at Nemo. So off to the bathroom we went.

And this is when I started to ask the question: How many cell phones can a family carry without answering one of them? The answer.

Five.

See, when Mom and I got to Finding Nemo, they were all no where to be found. And we waited outside. And they were no where to be found. So we called Dad. No answer. Called Jason's two phones (one work, one personal), no answer. Jeni....nope. Gavin....not a peep.

Five phones. And no one answered.

We finally thought maybe we would just go inside, that maybe they had already gone in. And then Jason calls back, magically.

Clearly, communication had to improve in this group.

All of us finally together, we headed in to the show.

Gavin sat on my lap during the entire show. Man, that kid's rear end is bony!

Everyone loved the show. But then again, what's not to love about the show.

My leg had fallen asleep, so this was what I felt like when I got up from my seat.

Leg properly shaken out, it was now time for.....

DUN DUN DUNNNNNNNN!!!!!

If anyone was every curious how littles compare to a Yeti foot.....here's your answer.

We used our fastpasses and got through line in no time. The riding partners were:

Mom and I.
Gavin and Jeni.
Jason and Joaquin.
Dad and nameless stranger.

Our train was coming!

And clearly, Pop was in the background of that picture thinking I was taking the picture of him.

In this moment, Gavin was trying to convince me that he was very excited.

Joaquin definitely was.

Gavin, well.....

This picture proves otherwise.

Yes, the second he sat in the seat, Gavin started to cry.

We left the station and it just increased into semi-hysterical. Jeni was trying to calm him down and told him not to worry. But he continued to cry throughout the entire ride. Which was what we had expected from him on Dinosaur, but that didn't happen. If he could take that, surely he would have been fine on Everest?

Oh, everyone remember my "what the heck is going on in this picture?"

What exactly was going on?

Joaquin came to the realization that little Yeti had an older brother!

Gavin is hanging on for dear life. Evidence of how this ride went down.

And Pop....well he was still with the nameless stranger. Whose face was pretty dang good. Nice job nameless stranger!

Gavin survived. As I've always said, no littles were harmed during the making of this trip report. A little emotionally damaged maybe. A teeny bit.

We got off the ride, and Jeni was feeling a little sick, so she said she wanted to go to the bathroom to cool down and get some water on her face. She took a still crying Gavin with her.

After we scanned our ride photos (thank you Photopass+), I was sent on the mission to find Jeni and Gavin in the bathroom.

Well, I found Jeni and Gavin in the bathroom.

For any Tiny Toons fans out there, Expedition Everest will forevermore be referred to as Happy Go Pukey.

For Jeni and Gavin at least.

Jeni's sensitive stomach came to play. And Gavin. Poor boy. He just cried himself sick.

Jeni was fine after this, but we sat Gavin on the bench, because he was still crying up a storm. I headed back to grab the rest of the family. We decided that Gavin needed to head back to the resort to calm himself down and lie down.

On the way out though, Jason had to get a jalapAno pretzel.

Contrary to what his face looks like, he really liked it. That's his "I like it" stank face.

We all made it out to the car and started heading back to the resort. All was well in the world, and we had survived.

Until Gavin turned and threw up on me.......

We're going to pretend that he threw up a rainbow on me.

Let's just say at that moment, I was grateful we had one of these.

No, Yeti was not in the bucket while this occurred. He came out unscathed. I can't say the same for me.

The car ride back to the Villa felt like it took forever!

But we finally made it. And Ommi being the responsible one cleaned both Gavin and I up. Like a good Ommi would. She undressed him (not me now!) outside the villa so that he could get clean, and we moved inside.

I had never been happier to be back at the Villa in my entire life.

Up next: Chicken fight!

I went for New Year's in 2012, but it was crazy crowded, so I'm looking forward to low crowd January. And I haven't been in May since 2009, so this year is going to be epic. :thumbsup2

Oh no! Poor Gavin! Well, and you......

All horrors aside, the EE pictures are truly priceless!

It was a rough middle part of our day. But, I will say already we had no other days like that, and it was all good from there.

We're such weirdos on ride photos. But the kids faces won that round.

Oh hey there…looks like we have ALL THREE TRIPS POSSIBLY AROUND THE SAME TIIIIMMMMEEEEE

I’m thinking a trip in Jan/Feb is needed, although I’m waiting for auditions to be posted, Imma wait for some dance/parade one instead, but that week of Jan is when I was thinking..

May for sure I’m going with a friend or two, I was thinking early May, but I’m not sure yet…I have always wanted to be IN Disney World for my real birthday!

Obviously I’ve already talked to you about Food and Wine time,/MVMCP time, I’m definitely going down then, we’ll have a few drunk lil cucumbers!

I knew that pic was from EE!! Those photos are simply amazing! Goober ultimate. Aw man, poor Gavin, hope he was feeling better really soon, and eeeccckk about the throw up, that is not pleasant!

The on ride photos are great, but omg poor Jenni! And poor Gavin! And poor you! You know that scene in Four Christmases, the baby throws up on Reese Witherspoon and Vince Vaughn is gagging and retching and saying, "I'm gonna do it too. I'm gonna do it too!" -- totally me around any situation like that. I commend you for not throwing up rainbows too. Sensitive stomachs are the worst!

OMG :rotfl2: that turtle gif.

AHHHH Everest... My precious! :lovestruc

Your father is clearly a legit superstar!!!

Bahaha, Joaquin's Everest expression is definitely one I have not seen on Everest before. OMG that cracks me up.

I sure hope the "nameless stranger's" Everest photo is legit, because if it is, it's AWESOME!!!

OMG, how insane would that be if every one of our trips next year overlapped somehow! It would be crazy and tons of fun!!!!!! Wait, I don't know if I could handle that many drunk little cucumbers......:lmao:

My logic behind the May part was that I would get the last weekend of Flower and Garden and also get to be there for Star Wars weekends. It's a win-win!!!

Girl, let me tell you. I was totally Vince Vaughn in that movie! I was trying not to think about it the entire time. I didn't want to double the mess though!

OMG :rotfl2: that turtle gif.

That turtle gif completely represented how I felt after my legs fell asleep from Gavin's bony but.

He is definitely a superstar, and he continues to be one. :rotfl:
