Lizzy Lemon: Those are great photos! I like how you all wore a similar colored shirt. I never even thought about that, but it makes your photos look great. Thanks for sharing.

We were advised to wear the same colour when I booked the session but as it was one of the last things we did on our two week holiday it was hard keeping some clothes back clean and tidy!!!!!!

Word of advice to those booking, if you want beach pics, book first thing in AM or late PM. We did a 2 PM shoot and most of our beach pics have us squinting, even with the sun at our backs.

Yup, that happened to us too. And it wasn't even just the beach ones that were squinty - lots of the other outside ones were too. We had an 11:30am appt.

Hi! I have really enjoyed seeing everyone's pictures! Thanks for sharing! I would really like to do this with my family next month! I do have a couple of questions though? Do I have to wait till right at the 30 day mark to reserve? And, what # do I call?? Also, would 10:00 am be a good time to book??? Thanks for any input!

Here's some pictures from our family photo shoot on Feb. 2. It was DH and I, our 3 kids and DH's parents. 7 in total. We booked an 11:30 time slot and it was already too bright outside. Nearly 3/4 of the shots had someone badly squinting in them. But there are some beautiful ones that we cherish, especially this first one. Thanks for looking!

Oh yes, these are the good ones from the bunch. Notice that the much-coveted "kids in hammock" shot has Mr. Squinty eyes. I thought about doing a funny scrapbook page on all the open-mouth, squinty eyes shots because some of them look hilarious!

The worst pain I think I've ever been in is trying to open my eyes on that sandy beach. It was horrible. If I could open them, I had tears. It was just awful, but funny.
