I will be 40 this May and I'm taking a solo (not the whole time) trip to Disney. I can make roses on cakes, but can't sew at all! I want someone to make me a really cool mickey personalized 40th b-day t-shirt.

Post soliciting business are not allowed on the DIS, however there are some very talented DISer's on the Creative DISigns boards who willing design shirts for others, just becuase. I am moving this over there and maybe someone will be happy to design something for you.

Well, I really am not fond of sewing, but I'd like to see you get what you want. Perhaps it would be helpful if you gave some idea of what you're looking for? Does it have to involve sewing? I know that you can get iron-on decal paper at Wal-Mart of office supply stores. You can create a design on your computer and print it out on this paper, then iron it on your shirt. Or there are fabric markers and/or fabric paints, which you could use to draw a design on a t-shirt.

Making your own personalized shirts is very simple. No sewing necessary or I would not have ever attempted it myself. (I am another non sew-er). There are many designers on this board who would be willing to help you with a customized design. Have a look around and you will find more than you'll ever need.

If you see something here on the boards from another designer, all you need to do is either post your request to the thread you see the design in or pm the designer.
