yay for a great CM! They really can make all the difference. The current promotion booking date ends March 27th, so the following Monday the 29th should be when they announce the next promotional offer. They have set themselves up well for it because the current promotional dates go through August 14th. Free dining historically runs from August 15th through September 30th. There are signs there so all we need to do is hope Disney is going to release as they have done in the past!!

You don't even know how relieved I am right now that FD won't be released until AFTER my ADR day!!! Now, I know I can get the places and times that I want without a problem. I am beyond excited!

Great PTR so far, love your scrapbook, I bought one for my last trip and still is sitting in the box, I have good intentions!! It's overwhelming when you look at all the pics! LOL!! I hope to stay up to date from now on.....

That is SO awesome that we're scheduled for the exact same dates! I forgot...where would you guys end up staying? I know as a family of 5 you don't have a ton of options, but Cole is still a little guy. Don't feel bad about not starting your scrapbook. I bought mine in Jan 09 and just started it last month. So, it sat around in a shopping bag in my closet for quite some time. Just thought I'd let you know...not that I'm expecting yet (hope to start trying AFTER our Disney trip), but Cole is our favorite boys name!!! My DH actually was the one who mentioned it. Cole actually sounds quite wonderful with our last name. I would absolutely LOVE to meet you and your family. Whenever I meet other DISers, I feel like I've known them forever. It could be due to the fact that I "talk" with DISers more than my own family sometimes! Plus, I get to read all about their trips, their kids, etc.

Hi everyone! I have been having such a Disney week. The other day, I got some Mickey Mail! It was just a pamphlet with info I already know, but it came from Disney so it made me smile. Then, as I reported yesterday, I switched over to a package and had the best CM ever. It was so much fun to talk Disney with someone who was so joyful. So I open my email this morning and what's waiting for me???? My GAD vouchers!!!!! Woo hoo!!!! I immdiately printed them out and put them into my Disney folder (yes, I said Disney folder). I even got excited to get my reservation details in my email as well. If something says Disney on it, I get very happy.

I kind of tweaked my ADR's a little bit too. With only a week before I make my ADR's (oh yeah!) I really needed to sit down and come up with a plan. We decided to go for CRT and we'll pay OOP for one other meal. Quick question...I know that you have to pre-pay for CRT, but how does that work if you're on the DDP? Do you get a refund or something?? Anyways....here is my new list of ADR's:

Sept 22-No ADR's
Sept 23-Chef Mickey's for a late breakfast (around 10:30 or 11am)
Sept 24-CRT 4:30pm (this is our MNSSHP night)
Sept 25-Coral Reef or Garden Grill 4:30/5pm (these are Madison's top 2)
Sept 26- Crystal Palace 8am
Sept 27-50's PTC 4:30/5pm
Sept 28-Cape May Cafe 5:30pm
Sept 29-'Ohana 9am (departure day)

Let me explain a few things....Even though we will be at WDW for 8days/7nights, I only got 7-day park hoppers. This is because #1-we don't have our flights yet so I don't know if we'll be able to head to a park on departure day and #2-With the halloween party, you can enter the park at 4pm without having to use a day off of your park tickets. So, I was originally thinking of heading to MK earlier than 4pm on the party day, but now I've decided against it. We can sleep in a bit, maybe head to DTD, go back to Pop to get ready for the party and then go to MK. I think CRT will be fun to go to in costume!!! So....it will be an early dinner at CRT!!!! As you can see, I did pick early times for dinner. I'm thinking with FD, it might be best to get the first seating. Well, there you have it! I can't wait to make my ADR's next Friday!!! It's still pretty weird to be making them 6 months in advance, but it's one thing to cross off of my list.

Your ADRs look absolutely fabulous Meghan!!! The way it works with CRT is that you tell them you are using the DDP and they will NOT charge you for CRT!!! At least that is the way it worked for me! I think MAddie will just adore CRT! We really enjoyed our breakfast there and would love to try supper there sometime!

As far as pre-paying for Cinderella....they have always told me it's a holding guarantee...they dont actually charge you until you leave..so if it's onthe DDP they just drop it and put it toward your dining credits. That may be wrong..but I think that is howthey do it.....I guess because of people cancelling...because they always tell me to be sure and cancel at least 24 hours ahead or be charged on the credit card. I guess I could have explained that a little less wordy...sorry!!!!
How exciting that you are getting this much done already!!! I am glad for you...that to me is the biggest headache! Are you using the UG for crowd predictions...I forgot....or are you just doing what u want, when you want to do it? I need to resub for mine...if we go in Nov, I want to start planning by May. We will be through with school then and I can start some loose day-planning!! Me and G will be working on a letter & picture for Madison today or tomorrow!!!!

Here's my problem...when I book my ADR's, I won't have the DDP added to my ressie yet. Madison is very excited to eat inside the Castle. Who am I kidding...Tony and I are excited too!!! I will have to go look at the dinner menu over on all ears again.

Thanks Shawna! I guess I will just book CRT and take it from there. I look at the crowd calendar from the UG, but I don't pay much attention to the "best parks" and "parks to avoid". I'm pretty much planning around MNSSHP, fireworks, etc. We love EMH in the morning because we can get so much done (especially at MK), so I've worked those into our schedule too. Yea for a letter from Miss G. Madison will be so excited!

Love the ADRs, I've always wanted to try out Cape May for dinner but I never go with seafood lovers!! I'll be looking out for that review! Crystal Palace is my favorite breakfast spot right now, i've never eaten at 1900 PF, which we're doing in August so lets see if that changes!

My DH is a HUGE seafood lover, so he's pretty excited about Cape May. I like seafood too, but not as much as him. Madison likes shrimp (regular or breaded) and fish fry's. I'm always so happy to hear there is a kids buffet with mad & cheese, chicken nuggets, etc! Crystal Palace is favorite of ours too. That was really the only request from my DD and DH for this trip. For me, CP and CM are pretty even. They are both so much fun and the character interaction is wonderful.

Start your new book for Sept!!!! You know what parks you will go to...start deciding what paper/stickers you want!!! I really want to get our next trip dates nailed down!! Reading this is making me reeeeaaaaalllly wanna go back!!! Mike may be super-busy for the next few months and I am considering asking him if he thinks I should just take the kids for a short trip....hmm....I think I should do it!! Ha!! But then he'll say..well...then you can't go for 8 or 9 days in November. I know how he thinks...but dang...I hate the thought of a $750 GC going to waste!!!!!!

We booked the Spirit of Aloha show on the DDP and they just take a credit card # to hold the reservation but you dont get charged unless you don't show up. I'm assuming it's the same with CRT.

Great ADR's! I hope you get them all!! I dont think we'll have any that match up though...we are cracking on those this weekend, now that we've moved up our dates!! Less than a week..woohoo!!!

I soooo hope we get to go for sure and we get to meet up! That would be SO much fun! We're planning on staying at PORS, since we're a family of 5 and Cole will be over 3, we've outgrown Pop, but I am looking forward to stay at PORS, that's where Todd and I honeymooned 10 years ago, the week we're going!! It was Dixie Landings then, though.

And I love that you love the name Cole...it's a GREAT name!!! I know, I'm a bit biased!! Now, you just need to have a boy!! No pressure there...lol!!

I'll let you know as soon as we do about our trip!!! I'm with you, I'm closer with some of my DIS friends over family, too!!

I will probably start buying new papers and stickers throughout the summer. There are always great coupons for Joann's, Michael's and AC Moore! A trip with just you and the kids would be so much fun! When Maddie gets older, I can definately see a mother/daughter trip to Disney. I hope that you get to do both trips!

I haven't been to 50's PTC since I was about 15 years old, so I'm really looking forward to it. I've heard their milkshakes are incredible so I'm definately have to get one. My parents never usually let us get a milkshake with our meal. We always filled up on it and could never finish our dinner! Thanks for the info on show. I love the look of POR (Riverside and FQ) and would love to stay there someday. How awesome that you'll be back at the same resort during the same week!!! That is so cool. Cole is such a cute name....and like I said, with our last name he could either be a sports star or a power broker!! As much as I love the name Cole, I'm secretly hoping for another girl. I've grown up in a family of girls (2 sisters) and I have almost all girl cousins. However, I will be happy no matter what. We just can't wait to add onto our family!

I have Disney folders, notebooks, totes.... The tote is actually wonderful. It's in the basement right now, but when the trip gets closer, I move it into my closet. Right now, it's holding ponchos, shoe organizer (we hang it up in our "closet" at Pop for extra storage), Madison's Disney pins and lanyard....you get the idea. Whenever I buy something for the trip (travel size items, etc) I just throw it in there. It makes it so much easier when it's time to pack! Thanks for the info on CRT. I knew I had nothing to worry about!
