I am so desperate to get out of those cattle class seats on BA. Every summer we cram ourselves in and wish we were nearer the front of the plane. I keep looking at the prices of Club World but I can't justify that. I wish they did Traveller Plus on the MCO route - why don't they??????

Just checked out Virgin. At least they offer PE but living in Scotland it means the added expense of making the trip to Gatwick in the first place. With BA the shuttle was included in the cost which was part paid for using my dad's airmiles.

Am I missing any obvious money saving tips?

Louise

BA will offer WT+ on the Gatwick~Orlando route from 2004 (June I think).

Rob

Louise,

We flew from Glasgow to MCO (via Chicago) with American Airlines in September - and the legroom was very good (34"). The service throughout all six flights was excellent - and we will be traveling with AA again next September.

Whilst the added route via Chicago can't compte with a direct flight to Sanford - our party of 7 saved £600 on flights and car hire over charter quotes we'd been given.

Rob, where did you find this information? I can't see it on their website. If it's true then that's what I'll do.

Thanks,

Louise

We fly from Glasgow, via Newark, with Continental - leg room is about 31"/32" - the flights times are usually very good and minimal stopover times.

Never had a problem until my luggage was put on the wrong flight this year.

We joined Continental's OnePass program, (free to join) and all 5 of us are getting FREE flights next year we only have to pay the airport taxes so it's been worth our while flying with Continental.

BA are upgrading all their long haul services to include their new Club World beds and WT+ seats. Orlando is due to be added in 2004 - see this press release for more info. Not quite sure when in 2004 it's due to be added, but I think I read somewhere that it would be from June.

Rob

Well it would be June wouldn't it? I wish it was May ;)

Thanks for this info Rob :)

Don't take my word on June - I'm not entirely sure if I even imagined that. Best call BA to see what the timetable is.

Regards

Rob
