I want to Design, but I dont know how to start?

Hey Everyone,

I am new to the creative fourm and I am intreasted into designing Images for people who are visting WDW or Disneyland etc. I was wondering what I would have to do begin being a DISigner.

It normally starts with a person filling someone's request. Then you will have others who will love the design you posted and ask for it with their name. Then, like a snowball, it just grows and grows.

If you wish to be a designer here, just jump right in. We are a friendly bunch and welcome any new friends/talent. The more, the merrier! Welcome!

But be warned, it is very addicting! You will soon wonder what you did with all your time BEFORE designing!

Thanks for Information M_I_C_K_E_Y, Am I aloud to start a thread saying "I am Willing to Design for you?, and there can locate them on a specfic facebook page, I am going to create a page on this and for the boards, am I aloud to do that?

It does look really fun, I am just wondering how to like put the Images on the bottom in the posts, and stuff like that, but I am working on fb page for it and now designing my logo now

Thanks RustManFan, I've been looking at all your work for the designers on here, all I have seen is fantastic!

I would suggest start by filling the individual requests that you see where people start their own thread looking for things. Then once you are super comfortable and want to do more...start your own thread, but be warned you will probably get a TON of requests and occasionally you might be overwhelmed. We have lost a lot of GREAT DISigners that way.

You can not post pictures directly to a post. Here is what you can do to show off the great items that you make:

• Get a free photobucket account at www.photobucket.com.
• Then upload your pictures to there.
• Once they are uploaded point your mouse at the picture and you will see a drop down list below the picture.
• Then left click your mouse on the words "IMG Code". When you do this you will see the word "copy" show up where the code was.
• Now go back to your post on the DISBoards and right click and "paste" the code into your post and the picture will show up once you complete the post.

Another option is to get a 4shared account. Which ever you decide, you can post a link to your shared things in your signature like I do in mine below.

I think at the momment I am going to do the Individual Requests and then I will move on at the momment I have a lot of things going on, so I dont lose them. But I take all you advice, I really appricate your guys help. If its okay, Is it okay if I start another thread or comment you guys if I get stuck in anyway.
