I want to book my trip, but dh won't let me until airfares are released. Come on AT!!

We are debating between two weeks and dh won't decide between the two weeks until he knows if airfare will be different. One of the days we are thinking of flying is the Saturday after Thanksgiving.

I keep checking, but Airtran hasn't relased costs for the end of Nov/begining of Dec yet!!

Nope they haven't released yet....I had read a few other threads saying mid april is when they usually release those dates I am waiting w/ you

Unless you are traveling over a peak holiday period you would probably be better off waiting to purchase your airfare until about 2-3 months before your date of departure. The airfares airlines initially release are typically not the lowest available fare.

Last week Airtran had flights from DC to MCO for $69 per person on Nov. 21......I checked today and they are over $300 per person...yikes.
