Can I have the fairy godmother come to my reception? I think it would be so much fun to have her come around to the tables during dinner and bippity boppity boo everyone.

Oooh, thank you. I would love to know. Fairy Godmother is such a great character whenever you run into her in the parks. How cool would it be for her to interact with guests while they dine? You could have the DJ play her song while she skips into your reception venue. Fun!

we're having an Intimate, and there's only a few of us so we're having dinner at 1900 Park Fare afterwards, and FGM is in the lobby for photo's (then Cindy, PC and Perla and ? come around while you eat), so we sort of get her for free

I just watched the DFTW planning DVD tonight. In the section where they say you can hire characters to your wedding, they show Lumiere and Mickey. Since Lumiere isn't on any list in the Wish Book or their web site, I assume you can request characters that aren't among the eight that are listed (Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy, Pluto, Chip, Dale).

By the way, the free DFTW planning DVD isn't very useful. There is no information in it that we haven't seen on this board. Well, except for seeing Lumiere at a reception.

Another bride on here - I can't remember who I'm Sorry - had 5 very unique characters at her reception at MSM the Great Movie Ride. I know one was Glinda from thw Wizard of Oz, Mickey in the Sorceror Hat, and a Hollywood Movie Director (not an actually Ron howard or anything, just an actor playing one) So I'm sure your mind & money is the limit for characters.

we're going to 1900 park fare too! it's just me and my DF (well i guess he'll be DH then!) i thought that would be fun to have the characters around

Fairy Godmother is a possibility after the park is declared "clear" by the Epcot manager that evening...usually around 10:30.
