Don't miss the premiere of the all-new summer show, "I am a Celebrity..." on Monday June 1st, 8/7c!

NBC officially announced the cast for "I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!" on Friday morning and it includes stars from film, music, sports, reality TV - and possibly one impeached politician. (we now know his wife is doing it)

Cast members will include Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt (stars of MTV's "The Hills"), NBA great and TV personality John Salley ("Best Damned Sports Show Period"), supermodel and reality TV star Janice Dickinson ("The Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency"), 2007 "American Idol" contestant Sanjaya Malakar , actor Stephen Baldwin ("The Usual Suspects") and professional wrestler and beauty queen Torrie Wilson. Three more celebrity contestants will be named next week along with the hosts of the show.

I watched the last one several years ago. I think the "celebs" were the likes of Stuttering John Melendez (at that time, he was still with Howard Stern) and Melissa Rivers and a few other D-listers. And a male supermodel whose name escapes me. It was fun to watch

Should be good. I can't wait to see what they make Sanjaya do

I think it was Chris Judd??? He was married to JLo, and is a choreographer.

The first season of the American version was originally aired by ABC in 2003. John Lehr was the host, and the ten contestants were Cris Judd, Melissa Rivers, John Melendez, Bruce Jenner, Tyson Beckford, Maria Conchita Alonso, Downtown Julie Brown, Nikki Schieler Ziering, Alana Stewart, and Robin Leach. Judd won the series, with Rivers in second place, and Melendez placing third.

NBC bought the series, and the second season airs June 1, 2009, from Costa Rica. Although not all of the contestant have been named, Myleene Klass will be hosting, and Heidi Montag, Spencer Pratt, Sanjaya Malakar,[3] John Salley, Janice Dickinson, Stephen Baldwin, Lou Diamond Phillips,[4] Torrie Wilson, Frangela, and Patricia Blagojevich [5] have agreed to be contestants on the show thus far.

I can already tell this will be a great show. I can't stand Spencer Pratt and I just read that he and Heidi have quit the show twice and returned both times. I will happily watch them suffer!

Me too. For some reason, I cringe when I see those two. Hopefully they'll put her in the leach tank like they did to Downtown Julie Brown
