I want a Mallomar!!!!!

Mallomars are my favorite cookie. They are sort of like a s'more.....a graham crackery cookie bottom and marshmallow on top enrobed in real dark chocolate. In the northeast they are only available from September to May as the chocolate melts. It is mid September and my body KNOWS that it is Mallomar time.....and I just can't find them in the grocery stores here in Asheville NC.

I hate withdrawl..........

I used to love Bonomo Turkish Taffy myself! I was a fan of the chocolate. I remember hearing of a company that specializes in impossible to find candy. I saw it on the Food Network, but I can't remember the name of it. Maybe if you did some research on the Food Network website you might be able to find it. This particular company sold candy that many people thought was no longer made. It might be worth a try.

Mallomars = best cookie ever. I have to really exercise self-control because I could eat a box in one sitting.

One advantage to living in NY--Mallomars arrived this week! I bought 2 boxes on Sunday....opened one and have been very good so far. Without a doubt, the best store bought cookie!

I love these! I love the box, the smell, the dark chocolate, the cute cookie look. Pinwheels just don't get it. We won't get them until around November.
