I want a cleaning person!

Just someone to come in to do the things I don't like doing anymore.....like.......

a really good vacuuming & dusting (including miniblinds)
clean the bathrooms & tub/shower
change the sheets
wash the floors.......................................

It's just DH & I and a 15yr old kitty. We are pretty neat people.
Is that asking too much?!

If you could hire a cleaning person....what would you have them do? Maybe if I take all your ideas, I won't have to do anything? LOL

She did everything , I hate to clean the baseboard so she always did those for sure......

I'd be the type that would try to clean before the maid got there. I'd love to have someone come in to help, but I don't think I could tell them to do much. I might ask him/her to mop. I hate to mop.

I used to have a cleaning person and it was great! She did the bathrooms and the kitchen floor. She dusted and did counter tops. Vacuuming and straightening up. It was wonderful.

I want a maid. Actually a live in maid that would clean my entire house and have the meals prepared when I am ready to eat.

But can't afford that, so i guess I will continue doing as little as I can get by with.

Although I would really like the end result of having a cleaning person, I can't deal with people doing stuff for me. I can barely deal with the man who does the lawn. It's just so strange for me.

So I am probably dating myself here, but I want an Alice from the Brady Bunch or a Hazel.....to help with the DCherubs while I am working, help clean up, but most of all help with meals! It would be so nice.....pixie dust anyone?

LOL --- I'll take an Alice or a Hazel too.....even though there's no kids. It would be nice to have the meals to come too in addition to a clean house.

Honestly, I cannot STAND cleaning people! Granted I am not my mother, so I can't really say anything, since I'm not doing the work. But mom INSISTS that we clean everything BEFORE the cleaning ladies come.

"You need to put everything on your dresser away, otherwise they just dust around them!"

So theres the process of basically taking apart the room...hiding the jewelry and all that fun stuff...and then putting it back when they're finished.

Perhaps its just my age?? So much work BEFORE they come to clean!
