"I Wanna See My Castle!" October 2013 TR *COMPLETE* **NEW TR LINK!!** 7/3

I'd say Paxton's 3rd birthday was another success! I think 3's such a great age, because they now know how to vocalize their favorites and can show excitement much more clearly. I used to work with 2 and 3 year olds, and I can only imagine how much fun that age really is in Disney. :goodvibes

It's good you were able to see the parade one last time. I'm sure it makes you happy you decided to stay and watch.

Pretty nice view of the fireworks, especially when you factor in the convience of watching them from your hotel balcony. :thumbsup2

Cute cute cute!! I love the update. Paxton sure is lucky to spend his birthday at disney every year!! What a fun day he had - love the pics from the train ride, and so nice you were able to have a little party at your room with a yummy cake to top it off. He is doing so well with no naps. All the kids at daycare (6 kids including Aria, through age 5) take daily naps from 1-3 so I'm amazed he can go 3 days in a row without it! at 3! That's awesome.

Anyway...yeah, I forgot ALL about the parade leaving and we totally skipped it in December. There have been some pics released of the new parade though and it looks amazing! Can't wait to see it. We aren't huge parade people but, like you said, Aria loves them which makes us love them!

Looking forward to more! BTW, I re-read your DL TR w/ Paxton at 19m. So nice to get some perspective on what Aria will enjoy!!

Such a cute pic of your dad with DS! He looks SO happy on the train.

Love all the parade pics and the pics of you and DS on Dumbo :)

The ghostbusters costumes are so cool!

The videos of Paxton are adorable, the quacking one is so funny!

The coldstone cake looks delicious!

Great pics of Illuminations & Wishes. Again, SO COOL that you had that the kind of view from your room!

I definitely think DS had a fantasic bday ;)

He definitely loves the train!

DH loves all things Ghostbusters, so I'm sure at that moment he was contemplating a change in costumes. :rotfl: But I think ours were pretty good too!

It was so great having a fireworks view again! Now that we have DS, we don't spend nearly as many late nights at the parks, so we were really able to appreciate it this time.

AWWW DS DID look awfully excited on that train. It's amazing how what seems to be the simplest things (Train, carousel) prove to be the big winners with kids. Walt sure knew what he was doing.

Oh I think the new parade is going to be AMAZING from the floats I've seen. I for one can't wait.

OMG I adore the second photo with Peter and Wendy and Alice and Hatter. Too awesome with the faces.

AHHHH even just a few MNSSHP photos makes me wanna go back SO BAD!!

WOW, how amazing to be able to view TWO sets of fireworks from your room. What a great end to a fantastic day!!

Ain't that the truth?? Train and Carousel, easily 2 of his favorites. He still talks about the carousel even now!

I think the new parade will be pretty amazing too, and I can't wait to see it all come together! I'm sure some people who have seen it over many trips are tired of Celebrate a Dream Come True, but I feel like we had just discovered it, so I can't help being a little sad that it is going away. But if they replace it with something bigger & better, well, who can be mad about that??

DH has been editing our MNSSHP pictures almost every night while we are sitting in bed catching up on TV shows on the DVR, and I seriously want to go back to one right this very minute!

Definitely a nice way to cap off the day, with 2 fireworks shows and 0 people swarming around us. :thumbsup2

Sounds like such an amazing day, start to finish! :dumbo:

I totally understand your feelings on Celebrate a Dream Come True. That parade, and especially the song, will always hold a special place in my heart but I'm convinced that Festival of Fantasy will be even more magical! From the pictures I've seen, the floats look so detailed and beautiful!

It really was!

I think the new parade is going to be amazing, and I can't wait to see it! Hopefully we can make a quick trip in May happen to see it in person!

Drizella is too hilarious! Honestly, if I could be any face character in the parks, I'd have to pick her, even over the princesses. She's such a riot and being her would be SO MUCH FUN.

I just started following one of her friends on Instagram, and I was killing myself to see if it was her from the parade or not! :rotfl: Either of the Tremaine sisters would, I think, be a really fun gig. :goodvibes

I had no idea that the stationary Dumbo outside of the ride existed! That's definitely something I'll have to look for next time I'm there. Such a great photo opportunity!

This picture is too cute! He looks so excited!

I want to say if you enter under the arch and go straight back between the 2 Dumbos, that's where you'll find the stationary Dumbo.

I don't remember what he was looking at in that photo, but it definitely looks like he is saying, "Oooooooooohh" at something!

This also completely melts my heart. Y'all are such an adorable family! Every aspect of this picture just made me smile when I saw it. Not to mention, that cake also looks delicious!

How cool that you could see TWO fireworks shows from your room! One right after another! And syncing the Illuminations music with the show--that's some serious skill.

I can't believe this was only your first Disney Day! It already seems like you've done so much!

Aww, thank you. :goodvibes And the cake was every bit as delicious as it looks!!

I know, I feel like I have been updating forever and I haven't even started our second Disney day yet! We really jam-packed our time and did so much. Plus DH had a new lens to play with, so he took a ton of photos. :thumbsup2

Oh my gosh, you can tell from the pictures how much DS loves trains! I bet you can't wait until he's big enough for Big Thunder.

It looks like you guys had AMAZING spots for Celebrate a Dream Come True! SO many great pictures, especially that one of my queen Belle princess:

Your husband's shirt is AWESOME! :thumbsup2

Haha, I love the quacking video!!

That cake looks great, and the kisses picture is precious.

Those fireworks views are just incredible! To be able to see two fireworks shows from your balcony is unreal.

I absolutely CANNOT wait to take him on Big Thunder! We are trying to make a weekend trip happen in May, and I'm hoping he'll grow another inch and can ride. It's all he's been talking about! So last night we had a discussion about eating his vegetables and getting a good night's sleep to help him grow so he can be big enough. :rotfl:

I think that is going to be our go-to spot for the afternoon parade from now on. We have always managed to get a front-row spot there just minutes before the start of the parade, and always have lots of character interaction!

The fireworks view was put to good use this trip. :thumbsup2

I am positive that we cannot go to WDW without our boys getting on a train. Paxton was all smiles! Nothing like a happy boy! Thomas is still on a high here too!
Your husband always has the best photos and I really love the parade ones. I totally forgot they were getting a new parade! Glad I saw it last time!

Looks like you had another very successful birthday for him!

Love hallowishes! You guys had like a perfect view!
popcorn::

I don't foresee a train-less trip for a LONG time coming, especially not once he can ride Big Thunder! He was ecstatic to get a brand new Thomas track for Christmas, and now all 3 he has connect together to make one big track.

Thanks for the photos compliment! He will love to read that. We are glad we saw it one last time too, since I really hadn't put it in the plans for any day. It just kind of worked out that our train ride ended right before the start of the parade.

It was a GREAT 3rd birthday!

Ah I love your "pre-haircut photo" haha:rotfl2: That's how MOST of our photos turn out!! :lmao: Aww, Paxton looks so handsome with his new Do!! What a fun birthday tradition!

He used to be such a ham for photos, and now it's a struggle!! :rotfl: Kids are kids, I have learned to choose my battles. He was in desperate need of a cut, and Disney is the ONLY place where I have ever just put him in the chair without much direction given, and it comes out perfect every time. Too bad we can't plan a trip every couple of months when he needs a cut. :lmao:

We only saw bits & pieces of Dream Along with Mickey.... next time we'll have to make sure that we watch the whole show. :mickeyjum

Your DH got some FANTASTIC parade pics!! I felt like I was there! I'm sad that we didn't have a chance to see Celebrate a Dream Come True Parade on our trip especially now that's it done. But I'm really excited for the new Festival of Fantasy Parade... some of the new floats look awesome!

The show is really great, if you can find time to fit it in!

I am looking forward to the new parade. It seems like at least for this, Disney is replacing something great with something even better!!

A train ride, Dumbo ride and a PhilharMagic show... sounds like a perfect 3 year-old birthday to me!!

And yes I totally agree, the pixie dust in the air definitely helps with skipped naps! pixiedust:
Wow, what a great first Disney day! Can't wait to hear about the rest.

I have to imagine he really enjoyed himself on his birthday this year. :thumbsup2 It's kind of fun to have a day where DH and I aren't stressing about what we are going to do with DS while each of us takes the time to ride a Mountain or something DS can't ride. We just let him lead the way and do all the things HE wants to do!

I love all of Paxton pictures. He looks so happy while riding on the train.

I can't say I blame him for running away from the Queen of Hearts. She is a little creepy. :rotfl:

That cake looks super yummy!

What a great day in the MK. Paxton did really have an awesome b-day!

Fun Update!

The train was definitely a highlight for him! He absolutely loves it. We have a photo of the WDW Railroad parked at the station from his birthday morning in 2012 hanging in his room, and he loves looking at it all the time.

Queen of Hearts is frightening!! His reaction was so funny, because he kind of ran away, but he was also laughing.

I'd say Paxton's 3rd birthday was another success! I think 3's such a great age, because they now know how to vocalize their favorites and can show excitement much more clearly. I used to work with 2 and 3 year olds, and I can only imagine how much fun that age really is in Disney. :goodvibes

Pretty nice view of the fireworks, especially when you factor in the convience of watching them from your hotel balcony. :thumbsup2

It's been fun every time with him, but there was something even more fun this time of him being very specific about what made him happy/scared/excited, etc. The fun was definitely amped up this year!

Nothing can beat not having to fight thousands of people on Main Street after Wishes!

Cute cute cute!! I love the update. Paxton sure is lucky to spend his birthday at disney every year!! What a fun day he had - love the pics from the train ride, and so nice you were able to have a little party at your room with a yummy cake to top it off. He is doing so well with no naps. He has definitely been lucky! And I hope he will not hold it against us that we won't be spending his birthday in MK again this year. It was definitely a fun streak for the last 3 years!

He is just getting to the point where most days, a nap is not essential to the happiness of our days. So if we have something planned that is an all day affair, I don't have to stress about getting him home for naptime. But on a regular day, he still takes one. At daycare it's from 12-2 and at home we usually do 1-3 or 3:30. It's nice that he will still take one, but also nice that if it just doesn't work for that day, it's not the end of the world.

Watching Paxton watch the parades is my favorite part! I actually have like 20 photos just of him watching, so I had to whittle that down to just a couple to post. lol I'm looking forward to the new parade though, since it seems to highlight a lot of our favorites!

I saw your comment on my DL TR this morning. :) That was definitely a fun age to do DL too!!!

Thanks!

Such an awesome birthday for your DS!! :goodvibes

We'll definitely miss Celebrate a Dream Come True parade but have a feeling we're going to LOVE the new parade coming in spring based on some of the sneak peeks that came out last week of one of the floats!

The train ride around MK brings back a lot of childhood memories especially when it transverses through Frontierland. You're right, it's easy to forget all the stuff you get to see and hear as the train makes its way through that part of the park.

Those fireworks views from your hotel room are just amazing!

What a great day in MK, an awesome way to spend a birthday! :thumbsup2

I can't believe the parade is gone, and I never saw it! I wish I did on this past trip but we just didn't have the time. Oh well, I'm sure the new one is going to be even better! :cool1:

Yum, the cake looks so good!!!

Wow, watching the fireworks from your balcony must be amazing! I love how you can see the fireworks from pretty much anywhere near Disney World! :lovestruc

Ahhhh, what an awesome third birthday! It sounds perfect. I'm so glad y'all had such a great time! And the haircut looked adorable. :)

You guys look like you had a fabulous day for DSs birthday!

Those pictures on the train are too cute. The simple pleasures that make kids so happy are amazing.

Great parade pictures! They all came out great!

What a great birthday day - whether you are 3 or 30 - I think waking up and celebrating your special day at WDW is perfection! So many wonderful things and this is only day 1!! :)

Great photos of Paxton on the train. Such a fun and sentimental way to travel around MK.

The video of him chasing the bubbles was adorable.

Ending the day with not one but two fireworks shows - awesome! Luckily you had that fabulous view to enjoy.

I finally got caught up with your report! I'm loving it so far, you have amazing pictures. It looks like Paxton had an awesome birthday!!! He is so adorable!

I am pretty excited to see the new parade when it rolls out! I think I will miss the music from Celebrate a Dream Come True a lot, though. It's so fun and catchy! I just hope the new parade allows for lots of character interaction too, because that is what I think Paxton enjoys the most.

Until we went on it with Paxton for the first time, I forgot about all the little scenes you pass through from Main Street to Frontierland! Such a relaxing ride. Great way to get off your feet after a long day.

It was pretty awesome! Definitely don't feel too offsite when we are there with that kind of view.

What a great day in MK, an awesome way to spend a birthday! :thumbsup2

If my birthday were not in the middle of summer, I would definitely want the same birthday treatment Paxton has been getting! :rotfl:

I think the new one will be awesome, so it might be good you never saw the previous one. Now you won't miss it!! I know they have videos of it on youtube though if you ever want to watch it or at least hear the music. :thumbsup2

Definitely a perk of having a timeshare that is basically on Disney property without being Disney.

Ahhhh, what an awesome third birthday! It sounds perfect. I'm so glad y'all had such a great time! And the haircut looked adorable. :)

Thanks!! I love how they cut his hair there. I never have to worry that it will look bad!!

You guys look like you had a fabulous day for DSs birthday!

Those pictures on the train are too cute. The simple pleasures that make kids so happy are amazing.

Great parade pictures! They all came out great!

It really surprised me how the simplest attractions are the ones he seems to enjoy the most! But trains have been a big hit around here for a couple years, so no surprise there that the WDW Railroad is a favorite.

Thanks!

Ending the day with not one but two fireworks shows - awesome! Luckily you had that fabulous view to enjoy.

I totally agree!! I kind of hope I never have to find out, only because my birthday is in the middle of summer. :rotfl: But it is definitely fun living vicariously through Paxton for now!

I was pretty glad I had brought those bubbles right about then. He was bursting with energy and needed something to do, but there are only so many little cars and toys you can pack to bring with you! The bubbles were a life saver.

The view was amazing!! Easy to forget we were offsite, that's for sure.

I finally got caught up with your report! I'm loving it so far, you have amazing pictures. It looks like Paxton had an awesome birthday!!! He is so adorable!

Yay, I'm so happy you were able to catch up! It was definitely a winner of a birthday. :goodvibes And thank you!

DS is just a little bit crazy about trains. By this, I mean he is obsessed with all things locomotive. At 3, he can tell you the difference between a steam engine and a diesel and name pretty much every character from Thomas & Friends.
So, does this mean trains rank ahead of monorails on his excitement scale? :rolleyes1

We had always avoided the afternoon parades before DS, but now that he was around we had been seeing them more often and really enjoying ourselves as we watched him have a great time! I am hopeful that the new parade will be really amazing, but I am going to miss the music from this one.
I feel the same way, although in the few times we saw it, we never got all that attached to this specific parade. I look forward to seeing what they do next.

Ok, maybe it is just me, but it looks like Wendy is photobombing Alice and the Mad Hatter in this one. And the expression on her face is priceless. :lmao::rotfl2::rotfl:

DS once again LOVED the parade! He loves all things Disney characters, so a whole parade full of them, most of them giving him high 5's, is right up his alley.
:thumbsup2 Nice way to celebrate a birthday.

I always seem to forget that the train goes right through my favorite attraction, Splash Mountain!! So I got a brief glimpse of my lovely before we made it back to Storybook Circus
I love that part of the train ride. :thumbsup2

DS actually kept his glasses on for the entire show for the first time ever, and he really seemed to enjoy it! It was so cute watching him reach out for Ariel's jewels and feeling him jump in my lap when Simba roared. And of course, his favorite part was Donald falling into the back of the theater!
Sounds about like me when I'm watching it! :rolleyes1 :rotfl2::rotfl::lmao:

I'm glad he kept his glasses on and enjoyed the show!

But now looking back on it, I'm so glad we kept up our traditions and did the early breakfast and haircut and all the toddler-favorite attractions instead.
I think you did the right thing. That was an excellent birthday for him, and I'm sure he got more enjoyment out of that than he would have if you had just done the party.

After enjoying yet another delicious Cold Stone ice cream cake
The cake looks great. Nice way to end a birthday.

First, we watched IllumiNations with the show music playing on DH's phone while we watched, which was really cool! Then almost as soon as that ended, it was time for HalloWishes at MK off in the distance!
Wow... awesome view from your balcony. :thumbsup2

So, does this mean trains rank ahead of monorails on his excitement scale? :rolleyes1

Yes, but the monorail is still pretty exciting too! Just yesterday we were driving through New Orleans about to get on the Interstate and one of the on ramps was curved above us. He started pointing and yelling that it was a monorail track! :rotfl:

I feel the same way, although in the few times we saw it, we never got all that attached to this specific parade. I look forward to seeing what they do next.

I have a hard time with change! But I am pretty excited to see what they have come up with for this new parade.

Ok, maybe it is just me, but it looks like Wendy is photobombing Alice and the Mad Hatter in this one. And the expression on her face is priceless. :lmao::rotfl2::rotfl:

All of their facial expressions are pretty funny, but Wendy's definitely takes the cake!

:thumbsup2 Nice way to celebrate a birthday.

He definitely seemed to enjoy it!

I love that part of the train ride. :thumbsup2

Absolutely the best part! I have never looked though, can you see the train from inside Splash Mountain, I wonder? :confused3

Sounds about like me when I'm watching it! :rolleyes1 :rotfl2::rotfl::lmao:

I'm glad he kept his glasses on and enjoyed the show!

:lmao: I was glad he kept the glasses on too and finally wasn't scared to.

I think you did the right thing. That was an excellent birthday for him, and I'm sure he got more enjoyment out of that than he would have if you had just done the party.

Absolutely! While we ended up having a fantastic time at the party, it was so fun that in addition to an awesome party night, he also got an awesome birthday full of MK fun!

The cake looks great. Nice way to end a birthday.

Wow... awesome view from your balcony. :thumbsup2

The cake was great! We decided not to pre-order this time because of the fiasco that happened last year with them losing the order, so we got one already in the case. It was delicious!! And definitely can't go wrong ending the night with 2 fireworks shows from the balcony. :thumbsup2

Day 4: Friday October 25th

After our fun birthday celebration the day before and a good night's rest, we were up and at 'em early the next morning with our alarms set for 7:15. Our usual model most mornings was for DH and I to get up and get ourselves ready quickly so that we had all hands available for getting DS up and ready. He's not a morning person by an stretch of the imagination, so sometimes getting teeth brushed and clothes put on can be a struggle!

I did snap this picture really quickly to show off my Mickey Mouse Magical Ribbon that I was sporting for the morning.

Once we got DS up, he was actually pretty cooperative, so getting him dressed went a lot quicker than we had planned. He had a little bit of time to play with his toys and start eating his breakfast in the living room while we checked over our bags and made sure we had everything we thought we'd need for the day.

04-002 by disneymom1024, on Flickr

As a side note, we got him that jacket right before the trip, and he really loves that it has Lightning McQueen's eyes on top. As you can see, he was still working on his breakfast as we made our way down the hall to the elevators. We left the resort at 8 am and arrived in the parking lot for our park of the morning at 8:10 am. Where were we headed on this beautiful day?

04-004 by disneymom1024, on Flickr

We had given ourselves a pretty big cushion of time before the turnstiles opened so that we could take care of our tickets. We needed to upgrade them to RFID-enabled, and also add a day on to them. I waited in line with DS while DH took care of that at the ticket windows, and DH and I had our breakfast while we waited as well.

The gates opened at 8:45 am, and soon we were approaching this beauty!

And a behind-the-scenes look at DH taking the photo. :rotfl:

04-009 by disneymom1024, on Flickr

Our plan was to head straight to Africa to ride the Safari standby so that we could move on to Expedition Everest before the line got too long, or we could FP it if necessary.

04-010 by disneymom1024, on Flickr
Welcome to Africa!

04-011 by disneymom1024, on Flickr
Hey there, Everest, over in the distance. We didn't forget about you!

So, we hustled over to the Safari, and I was really surprised to see that there was a rope up. I had thought Animal Kingdom had switched over to the model of DHS and was opening the turnstiles 15 minutes early with the headliners open. There is a CM standing at the rope and only a few people had made it there before us. As we approach and stand there, the CM asks if there are any celebrations. I immediately pointed to DS with his birthday button in the stroller and said, "His birthday!" The CM, who introduced himself as Justin, led us through the rope and told us we would be the first family of the day on the Safari!

04-012 by disneymom1024, on Flickr

We went down to the empty truck, being welcomed all the way down by the CM's and DS got lots of birthday wishes along the way! I thought we were just getting on ourselves, but Justin actually got on the truck with us and introduced us to our Safari driver, whose name was Heather. I don't normally make a point to jot down CM's names, but these two were really awesome!

Waiting to head out on Safari

Instead of doing the normal spiel over the radio, Justin and Heather both took turns telling us lots of interesting information about the animals we were seeing. Some of it we had heard before, but some of it was new. I wasn't able to take any notes during the ride because DS was on my lap, but I did remember to jot down some funny moments that happened. DH was, of course, snapping away like crazy because since we were the only ones on the ride, we lingered a little longer near some of the animals if they were really active or interesting.

When we got to the cheetahs, Heather was very excited to point out to us that she doesn't usually see them so active! I was excited to see them up and moving too, because for the longest time ever I don't think I even realized there were cheetahs on the Safari. She was happy to wait there for a couple of a minutes for DH to take pictures.

04-032 by disneymom1024, on Flickr

04-033 by disneymom1024, on Flickr

Somewhere around this point, she also got REALLY excited to see that the zebras were back. In fact, she pretty much just yelled, "OH MY GOD, THE ZEBRAS ARE BACK!!" They were off in the distance, though, and she told us she would be able to get us closer. It was just really funny, especially to then listen to her say how it was the first day they were back on the Safari and she had been so bummed when they were taken out.

THEN...we got to the lions. And for the first time in the history of us ever seeing the Safari, the male lion was OUT AND WALKING AROUND!! She happily stopped the truck so DH could just shoot away, and she even proclaimed, "Best. Safari. EVER!"

Just feeling the breeze through his mane...

The female lions, while also out in plain view, were still just relaxing on the rocks.

04-041 by disneymom1024, on Flickr

And then, as if this private Safari had not been amazing enough, my most favorite moment of the whole thing happened when we got to this guy.

04-045 by disneymom1024, on Flickr

I was pointing him out to DS and saying, "Look, it's Pumbaa," and then I sang, "When he was a young warthog..."

Without either of them missing a beat, Justin sang in his best Pumbaa voice, "WHEN I WAS A YOUNG WARTHOOOOOG!" To which Heather replied, "Very nice." And Justin finished off with, "Thanks." It was so perfect and so DISNEY!! Although I did not bust out in my best rendition of Hakuna Matata, it was an amazing and hilarious moment that only big Disney nerds like us can appreciate, am I right?!

THE ZEBRAS ARE BACK!!

04-049 by disneymom1024, on Flickr

Eventually, our amazing and fantastic private Safari ride came to an end. But I definitely didn't want to leave without taking a photo with the two awesome CM's who made this such a special experience for us, Justin & Heather!

04-050 by disneymom1024, on Flickr

After we collected our stroller, we stopped to check out the gorillas. While DH was taking some photos, I checked my phone and saw about a dozen missed calls and texts from my parents trying to figure out where we were. The plan had been for us to all meet at the gates that morning, but when they didn't show up before the turnstiles opened at 8:45 am (like I had told them they would), we went on ahead without them. lol While I called her back, DH took these.

I filled my mom in on what they had missed, and she said she was a little disappointed that they hadn't been able to join us, but that she was happy we had gotten to have a fun little moment just the 3 of us. We decided to all meet up in Asia, which was perfect, because we were ready to encounter the Yeti!

Love your Mickey ribbon! How amazing that you had the safari all to yourselves! DH got some great pics. AHH so lucky that you got to see the lions out! Justin & Heather sound like they were really great, and so nice that you got to get a pic with them at the end!

OMGee I would love to experience my own private safari, how awesome! I had no idea they did that!

Those CM sound amazing, I'm so glad you guys got the opportunity!

The "When I was a young warthog" rendition is just too cute! Disney magic at its finest!

Your DH got some amazing animal photos. I can't believe all the big cats were up and about how lucky!

AHH, that cars outfit is adorable!!!!!!!!!!

Look at that... a TR with a "Making Of" built right in. :thumbsup2

First of the day on the Safari. That is awesome. Wait... You had the truck all to yourselves????? That is MEGA AWESOME!!

WOW, that's some of the best cheetah shots I've seen. I was starting to think they ran away, but Disney didn't want to admit it. Those zebras did disappear for a while...

Hmm, I'm starting to wonder if Heather actually works there. She seemed to get pretty excited for those Zebras being back like she had no idea. Too funny.

I think this may indeed have been the BEST... SAFARI... EVER. :goodvibes

Oh my gosh! That is so cool that you got to have your own private safari!!

"I am still so mad at y'all for killing Mufasa" :rotfl2: SO TRUE.

I don't think I've ever seen cheetahs on the safari, either!

Seeing the male lion is just the best.

I loooove the Hakuna Matata performance! That is just too funny.

This was such an awesome, magical experience to read about! :cloud9:

Best Safari EVER!

Best Safari PICTURES EVER!

You guys TOTALLY lucked out. I need to hang out with you! Having a private safari totally ROCKS! I always, always, ALWAYS go to EE first, but I may have to change my touring strategy! :rotfl:

Love your bow. Very cute.

So many fun pictures in this update that I can't possibly cut and paste them all! I do love the one from the bridge with EE in the background and the sun in the trees. Just lovely!

So glad that Paxton was agreeable this morning. He really made it all happen. I so remember the clothes, shoes, and teeth drama. Imagine that X2 every day! :faint:

LOVED this update. So magical!
