I waited 35 minutes for a Magic Kingdom bus....

That was probably the reason there weren't any MK buses for 35 minutes. It sounds like your reservation was for before the park opens and in that situation there's usually only one bus every half hour or so.

Good point.

I also believe that Disney now tells you to give yourself an hour and a half to get from point A to point B on Disney property, when you are relying on the busses. Which is why when I am going to a breakfast ADR I use a taxi. Saves a ton of time.

Before this turns into a 'no one can say anything negative about WDW..it's all pixiedust with you guys' issue....if there were multiple buses to another park then we can safely say that buses to the MK were remiss. Yes, buses for early ADRs run every 20-30 mins but you wouldn't see 2 or 3 for other parks while none for another.
The ball was dropped...period. I can see watching a bus to Epcot arrive and leave, then a bus to AK and one for DHS. But you shouldn't be standing there, for 25 mins, waiting for a bus to MK as the second bus to Epcot, DHS or AK comes along.

Last October we spent a wonderful week at OKW. One day we went to AKL--Boma for breakfast, then to AK. Not long after we got to AK, the wife felt ill and we decided to head back to OKW and relax for a while. Now, I realize not many people are heading park to resort in the morning, but we waited almost an hour without seeing an OKW bus. I was under the impression the busses simply cycled resort to park to resort to park etc. Obviously not.
No, in the morning buses go from park to resort only when there are guests waiting. If you were both sitting on a bench and no one was in the load zone queue, the coordinator did not realize that there were guests for OKW. If the coordinator was a good one, he should have seen you on the bench and sent someone to ask if you were going to a resort, but some coordinators are better than others.

Which bus stop?
It was the main front bus stop. I can only surmise that we had JUST missed a bus, as there was no one at the bus stop when we got there. At that time DD was 4. After 1/2 hour there were now crowds of people waiting for a MK bus, and DD was bouncing off the walls from hanging around. I worried that even if a bus pulled up, we would not be able to be the first on. W

I totally agree. It is incredibly frustrating to see a second bus to park arrive and NO ONE gets on, and yet you haven't even seen one bus to the park that you're waiting for.
