but I don't see them available on disney's website; I did buy it at the gate.

Are 6- day passes still available?

LOL Well... this has been a huge topic of discussion on the DIS boards lately. If you scroll through the last few pages, you will find a lot of discussion about it.

Disney now longer sells a 6 day pass for Disneyland and/or DCA. The most days available on one ticket is five days, unless you buy an AP.

Nope. There is a very long thread about this here on the boards.

5-day is the longest pass available. To add days, you will have to buy another pass for the number of days you are wanting to stay.

You do not necessarily have to buy another pass. There are multiple threads where people have been able to add days to their passes. In some instances the guests were staying on property and were able to extend to their length of stay. Others have added days by going to the ticket booth and being persistent and polite.

I would definitely try to add days on before I bought an extra pass.

I probably won't visit if I have to buy a 5- day pass and a one- day pass. That's a lot of $$$.

If you decide not to go, you should let Disney know why they lost your business. Their withholding 6 day passes is having a negative effect on the average non-AP visitor.

This is true, but if you check those threads carefully, you'll notice that over time it has gotten a lot harder, and there has not been a "success" posted in quite a while.

I think it is safest to assume adding a day to a 5-day ticket is now next-to-impossible.

Edited to add: Apparently someone managed it recently. I'm not holding out a lot of hope though.

This is really hit or miss, so I wouldn't plan a vacation around that. We were there 2 weeks ago, stayed 6 nights at DLH and were NOT able to upgrade our tickets for a longer length of stay.

I would suggest if this would change your plans you let Disney know that. The guess is the elimination of the 6 day option is to combat fraud but they didn't take into account the people who stay longer. It is quite frustrating to have a company not want your business.
