Just back from 9 days at WDW:( I miss it already but I did bring home a "special" souvenir.

8 pounds!!!

Okay, I admit, I was TOTALLY off plan. I made it through the first 3 days being a good girl and then kapow! I just caved in. It was the loaded french fries at the ESPN Club that finally got me. Those of you who have been there know what I'm talking about!

I'm okay with it though. I got what I deserved. I think a lot of it is water weight as have I dropped 3 pounds of it already since saturday afternoon. I am back on Induction, Lord help me! I had a terrtible headache and tummy ache last night. I guess when you play you really do pay.

We had a fabulous trip to see Mickey. My daughter cried on the monorail when we left MK on Friday. She said it was now her favorite place in the whole wide world. She has already started saving for our next trip! That's my girl!:D

Hey Tina,
Don't beat yourself up! It's a new day! Like you said, a lot of it is retained water. Not only are foods there loaded with salt, but all that walking causes water retention as well. Your body is just reacting to a different way of doing things.
Sorry you'll have to go through induction again, but you can do it and Christmas will be fantastic! Keep it up! Hope your tummy and head feel better soon!

Keep the Faith!
Tracy

Hi Tina, it sounds like you had an awesome trip. Don't worry too much about the weight gain, if will come off quickly. It is great that you were able to come back and get right on with induction.

I agree - sounds like you had a great time and indulged a little - isn't that what vacation is all about. Now that you are getting back on your plan those extra pounds will be gone soon. Don't let the guilt of a great time get you down. Focus on the future!

Tina,

That is exactly what I did last year! A 9 day trip, first 3 days rock solid followed by total endulgence, followed by an 8 pound gain!

But you are doing much better than I did, because you are already back on plan and facing the music. You'll get those 5 off in no time.

So glad to hear you had a great trip.

Hi Tina! Sounds like you had a great trip and that's what's important :) I have a feeling that I'll be posting a similar message after my December trip *lol* I'm glad that you're back OP! Well, you've gotten rid of 3 pounds so far ... so that's only another 5 pounds to go. I'm sure you'll lose that in no time :p

Tina,

I'm glad that you had a great time! Like everyone has already said to you, Don't worry about the 5 pounds -- you had a good time and gained it, it'll be easy for you to take it back off. You're doing great already!!!

{{Hugs}}

Glad to know you had a great time with your family.

Don't sweat the small stuff. Just revel in the fun you had and the joy on Delanie's face.

You have been so successful on Atkins, that you will be able to lose it all again, very quickly.

I'll PM you later.

Welcome back, we missed you. Now you know that you didn't really gain 8 pounds of fat. Most of that gain is water retention, that sneaky bloat fairy is everywhere.

So, you're back now. You're focused on goal and back on track and you are going to do great. I'm glad you had such a wonderful trip. Hope you made some magical memories!

Tina, I'm so glad you had a wonderful trip. You'll get rid of the weight in no time- don't worry about it.
