I too wish there was a Toy Story character meal

Like many other posts, I too wish there was a Toy Story character meal and it puzzles me why there still isn't one after all these years of Toy Story being such a "groundbreaking" and now "classic" Disney film? It would be a no brainer must do meal for my two boys, but even my two daughters would pick having breakfast with Woody, Buzz, and Jessie over the princesses hands down!

I agree! As a mom of 3 boys this would be fantastic. DS3 has autism and Buzz is the man! If we had a meal with Buzz he would be so excited. DS5 really likes the aliens.

I am honestly wondering if there is something between Disney and Pixar that prevents a character meal because otherwise, I can't understand why Disney is not cashing in on a Toy Story themed character meal. It truly is a no brainer because even my girls would love it especially if Jessie where there.

We are not huge fans of the eating options at the Studios. (Please don't flame me.) A Toy Story character meal would make a wonderful eatery. I like the idea of placing it at the Studios. There is that empty building beside Toy Story Mania that I think use to be the Who Wants to be a Millionaire?. That whole one area could be themed with Toy Story.

I also think they should have a larger area for Toy Story gift items and more selection. Sorry to have strayed off topic.

In terms of a character meal location at HS, I think they could consider remodeling Pizza Planet to accomodate a buffet style character meal. Hey, the theming is already there! 2) Parents take girls to Princess meals, first.
3) Then, parents take girls to other characters.
4) Unfortunately,
. . . character meals for "boys" do not pay
. . . character meal for other than traditional characters struggle
5) Nothing tough, strange, or difficult to understand.

6) Yes, some people say "I WOULD TAKE MY BOYS TO xxxxx MEAL !"
7) Sure they will.
8) But, how many times will they re-visit?
9) Not enough to make a character meal repeatable, like a princess meal.
10) So, blame US GUESTS for the issue, not Disney.

I can honestly say we would go and more than likely would revisit with our yearly wdw visit. I have 3 boys, they really don't care about the princesses, other than a simply blush when they would be talked too. Disney in my opinion really shafts boys, there are not a lot of options out there.

Disneyland Paris has had characters in Pizza Planet for several years, the restaurant has changed several times is now an all you can eat pizza buffet. Although I wouldn't call it a character meal there is a meet and greet inside the restaurant and a play area they visit regularly. So I wouldn't have thought it would be a problem in the US?

We would love it would be a great addition the Paris one is mobbed

Our family with 4 boys would love this. I agree that Disney kind of shafts boys. It has improved a little bit, but not enough. My oldest 2 started asking to go to Universal and Sea World and Busch Gardens more often than WDW.

If this is true then Disney is outright stupid! They cater to girls and totally miss the boat on boys as it is and it's only going to get worse with the new Fantasyland expansion. Plus, Toy Story has quickly become a Disney classic and it appeals to more than just boys. We would honestly go to a Toy Story meal every trip and I can't say the same of the Fab 5, princesses, Pooh or the Disney Jr crew.

A Toy Story character meal wouldn't just be for boys! Right now, my niece LOVES Woody and Buzz - but she doesn't even recognize the princesses!

Why no Toy Story meal? I have been wondering this for years!!!! I also think it may be a problem between Disney and Pixar. If they had one we would go 2 times every trip.
