I too wish there was a Toy Story character meal

Everytime this is discussed, there's the perspective that the Toy Story charcater meal would be for boys. But my DD loves  loves  loves  Toy Story. She loves the movie and the characters Woody and Jesse. And she's a girly-girl, very princess-oriented. So its not like girls would not find this appealing. Not sure why ithas not happened yet.:confused3

Same here at our house! We would love a TS meal.

there was one years ago. It was at the Sound stage at DHS my GF took her boys said it was great. But she also said it was not busy & they had 2 Green Soldiers sit at their table. Back then I think they would change up the Characters at the meal at DHS to what was the new release.

My house would definitely go to a TS character meal, and I'm a 16 y.o. girl and my brother is 13 :rotfl:.

My princess loving girl would LOVE a Toy Story character meal. And I know she'd want to go more than once.

I'm turing 30 this year with no kids and I think I would make a Toy Story characters meal a tradition, Buzz is my main man. I have to have my picture with him every year LOL. I made my DBF wait 20 minutes last year for this shot. I think a Toy story character meal would be great, but why not do a just a Pixar one instead? That way each time you come each month or week be be a different movie? I think that would be fantastic, especially since it can be hard to get your picture with some of those characters.

I would love love love a for there to be a Toy Story chararacter dining experience at Disney. I have girls and while they do like Toy Story, I would book it for myself! :rolleyes1 We love Pixar movies and the only reason we tried Chefs De France a while back was to see Remy!

If the reasoning is that it is for boys and parents of boys wouldn't come back then the reasoning is silly. I suck it up and go to Chef Mickeys, Garden Grill, etc. repeatedly because they have characters that my DSs may enjoy...even when the food is bad. So many boys (and girls) love Toy Story...its apparently popular enough to have two rides themed after it (and to have 2 popular sequels) so I can't imagine a character meal being anything less than popular. I agree that it must be a Pixar issue?

I think a Toy Story character meal would definitely be more gender neutral than a princess meal and would be highly profitable. Both my sons and daughters equally love Toy Story. My DD4 has never been into the princesses (she is just now starting to get into Tink and the fairies) and absolutely loves Toy Story. My DD9 wanted to watch Toy Story 3 repeatedly when we got it on dvd and she has always been our princess loving, girly girl and is at the age where she is into the tween shows on Disney channel!

I am an adult and i would looove this. HS needs another character Breakfast imo. They could always do it at Prime time.

True they are not traditional characters but I will tell you why I disagree that it wouldn't work. Toy Story=Big money for the company. This series has been one of the biggest successes and they are even making a four so this is not going anywhere. It was big enough to create a place "Pixar Place" and one of the most popular rides. I think this would possibly be equal to traditional characters in terms of booking. It's all about marketing. If they over-saturate (ie three meals a day) it won't work. Just a breakfast and I bet you will have trouble booking this it will be so popular. If in 5 years from now Toy story is not as popular any more (which look at the gap between 1&2 and then 3) then they could always stop it.

This would be the highlight of our trips to Disney! We spend so much time visiting Lightening McQueen and Mater in DHS, that a Toy Story character meal would make it even better!!!

Every time we go to Disney, we always talk about how we wish there was a Toy Story character meal. Come on Disney!!!

My children, a boy and girl, love Toy story. I think this is a fantastic idea. I have often wondered why there were not meals for just boys too like we have the princess meals.
This wouldn't be just for boys because there are girls out there that love Toy Story too but it would be nice to have something a little more boyish

I agree we are 26 and 33 and we loved getting our pictures with buzz in MK and then Buzz and Woody in HS and my DBF loved dancing with Woody in the parade at HS - we would definitely go for a character meal!

But then when we went last, we did almost all of the character meals. As a side note someone didn't have great food at Garden Grill - we loved Garden Grill - the food was lovely and they made a special vegetarian option for my DBF.
