Thanks Kathy! Glad you enjoyed it!
So Denny loves COP, huh? He and Mark would hit it off really well.
He does love it and I do think Denny and Mark would get along really well. Denny is not nearly as brave as Mark when it comes to hat pictures, but I think they would have a lot in common!
Lunch at one of my all-time favorites, the Plaza. Your burger is making me drool right now. But no dessert? I always manage to fit that in (maybe that's why my pants didn't fit when I got back home

).
Love the Plaza! As far as the ice cream - all I can say is it was still early in the trip and my stomach hadn't stretched yet!
I love how you always capture the balloons on your way out.
I can not pass up an opportunity for a balloon pic! They are my favorite!
I didn't realize you were staying at GF for your anniversary. Good for you.
Yup. Next year! We bought a small contract there so we could stay there for two or three nights every year or longer if we stay there every other year.
I am in the same boat with a full-time and a part-time job keeping me quite busy. So little DIS time these days.
That would keep you very busy. You have my sympathy. I mean, its great to make money, but I really like my free time more. It's often hard to find DIS time, but I find it very relaxing.
One of my favorites, as well.
It's such a classic. It just takes me back to my childhood!
And I agree about some cast members in here. If they see a camera, they assume you are going to flash it. They can give some evil looks.

I'd have to be a brave person to dare to flash in this place.
I completely understand why they would never want a flash to go off. And I guess the bottom line is you can't trust people to leave their flash off. So the only alternative is to say no cameras at all. It's a shame that no flash always gets translated in no camera.
Yea CoP! Most of my family loves this ride. I say most because it's my husband who is just eeh about it but my girls love it. I think its kinda funny beacuse I never would have guessed that little kids would have really like it. I think the dog keeps them interested although Addison asked me how the dog could be that old in the end.

I couldn't think of a really good answer on the fly. If she thought that it was generations of the same dog family it would have broke her heart that any had died, even if it was old age. I think I told her that they must have fed him really good food!

Great answer mom! I do think the dog is very endearing. I always love looking at Rover too! He's just so big and cuddly. So cute that Addison wanted to know how the dog could be that old. Kind of hard to answer that accurately. It's like Shadow at HHI - there is no way that Shadow could be 15 years old, but they play along with it like she is.
I have never been to the Plaza, I know I should rectify that as so many people have great things to say about it. Did you have an ADR or just walk-up? There seems to be more availability now for walk-ups although why wait when its 1/2 empty?
I always make an ADR for lunch. It never seems empty, but its much easier to get in there with an ADR and I can usually make one pretty last minute. I definitely recommend it. It's a great little place for lunch.
I don't blame you on the heat, it get's hot fast! And you can never have too many balloon pictures!
Christine
I am not a big fan of summer heat. I stick to early mornings and late afternoon/evenings. In 2009 it was so hot that my shoes literally felt like they were melting in the parking lot. Why torture yourself with that?
And, you're right - you can never have too many balloons!
Love COP! Definitely a must do in December. You guys got a lot done even if you are warm weather wimps. What is it with the wait at the Plaza? I do not get that at all.
Warm weather wimps?

Yes - that about sums it up! What can I say? Too many summer trips has made me wary of really hot weather in the middle of the day.
I have no idea why there is always a wait there, yet when you get inside at lunch time the restaurant is never full.
Cute pictures of you guys although it looks like you both might take someone out on Buzz.

Yeah, we were definitely in the heat of the moment. I must have been focusing on one of those big point yields. Obviously, I was not successful.
Feeding the ducks (or birds anywhere) is one of our huge pet peeves, drives me nuts.
I just wonder about all the ramifications of that. I mean, do those birds get to the point where they never search for food on their own? Do they become totally dependent on humans for food? Do the CM's leave real bird food out in the grass? I just wonder what the life span of the ducks is. Do they get sick more frequently? How do you police overfeeding?
BLEH on 16 hours of OT (well other than the obvious financial benefit).
Here's my thing with OT - and I don't do it very often - but it always seems like an inordinate amount goes out in taxes. I don't think the gain is worth the output. I am going to have to work some serious OT before we leave in October. That has me a little stressed, but I know I'll really be ready for this trip.
