I just saw in another post that you can bring in snacks and drinks. Is this true? I had heard that Universal was not allowing food in.

we took snacks in our back pack the week before christmas and had no issues...Heck security didnt even look in our bag....they just ran the little rod in and that was about it....

Drinks and snacks are not an issue and never have been. You just can't bring in coolers ... soft sided ones are okay.

you don't even have to "hide" your stuff when you enter the universal parks.

i always walk in with a couple of water bottles.

it has never been an issue taking in food and drink.

stay away from glass bottles on the beverages and you won't have any issue

When I called to make a reservation for our club level room (just a little over a week ago), the phone reservationist rattled off a list of perks for staying club level. One of the things she mentioned was that you could get bottled water in the club lounge "to take with you into the parks" :) .

Great.

I like to be able to start with a frozen water bottle. I'll make sure I pack a few snacks.

My neighbour said they had their food taken at Universal Hollywood when they went a few years ago.
