And boy am I nervous!

I'm pretty sure our kitty Gabi is pregnant. This is a good thing -- a little earlier than we wanted, but we did want to have 1-3 litters. Gabi and Leo are both prime examples of the Siberian breed, there are *no* Siberian breeders in Houston, and Siberians, being hypoallergenic, would go to different homes than normally would adopt kitties, so they in theory aren't taking any homes away from shelter kitties.

Well, as of a couple of nights ago, Gabi started to "show". I've been watching her closesly since she slipped into heat without us noticing (so much for cats getting restless, loud, howling, etc when they're in heat -- she did *none* of that. Only way we knew was catching Leo and Gabi "in the act" and by then, it was of course too late )

So, looks like we'll be kitty-grandparents in a month!

That was partly planned.

But good point. I didn't think of that as why she wasn't howling or showing other signs you normally expect from a cat in heat.

I wish I could find a cat that stayed the size of a kitten for their whole life. I just love having little babies ~ cats that is
