Thanks for making me not feel silly about scheduling the Dumbo FP. You're right, if we really want to do it then why take the chance right??

Exactly. I know this board is full of people who would say only use FP+ on the most popular rides, but I didn't go with that thinking at all. I picked out the three things we really wanted to do that day, and then anything else was icing on the cake.

Day 5 plans sound nice, that's basically our plans on our MNSSHP day! And I want a FP for Dumbo at night too! You're not crazy!

Tomorrow is FP+ Day (aka 60 days until WDW!)! Well technically tonight at midnight, which I'm thinking I may actually stay up and do it then. I'm pretty nervous about getting SDMT FP for the days I want them, but hopefully it all works out. Will update tomorrow on how I do! ​

We've reached the 60 day mark!!

I ended up just staying up until midnight to do my FP+. I was so nervous! Everything went so smooth though and I was able to get everything I wanted! There even seemed to be Anna & Elsa availability, even though I was not interested in that. So without further ado, here are the selections I went with!





The only day that gave me trouble was my MVMCP day (Nov. 13th). We are only using our party tickets that day, so entering the park at 4. I wasn't able to line up the times exactly the way I wanted, so I don't think we are going to make our first FP reservation scheduled for 3-4pm. There's always the chance they let us in before 4, but I picked SDMT so that's a far trek. I'm going to keep checking to see if I can make any changes. I'm also considering swiwtching from SDMT to Pirates, since that's a little closer to the front of the park. But that is the least of my problems!

Also a question for those who have done FP+. When I go back and look at my itinrary, it shows "Time Overlap" for rides I have scheduled back to back (aka 3-4pm, 4-5pm, etc). This is ok right?? I assume they just want me to be aware and not that this is a problem.

I also did online check-in! My two requests were for Ground floor and the touchdown section. Hopefully we are able to get them, especially the ground floor!

And lastly, our Magic Bands have been customized! Mom chose red, Dad chose orange and I chose yellow! We wanted to have completely different colors from last year

Mine say the same thing about overlapping where they are back to back, and I agree, I think it's more for you to be aware, it wouldn't let me actually schedule any that are truly overlapping so I think it's okay!

Day 6 - Pool day + MVMCP

Another pool day?! That's right! I told you my parents are hoping for a less "on the go" trip, so having some down time for them is really important. So hopefully we will be going to the pool again. If we didn't get a chance to visit the other All Stars on our arrival day, I'd like to take a walk today and check out All Star Movies. I'm dying to see the Dalmatians/Toy Story sections there! We will probably shower/get ourselves ready a little earlier today because I want to be at the park by 4pm when our MVMCP tickets become valid!

Once we get to the park we'll probably just walk around and take some PP pics. I have FP+ scheduled for SDMT, Under the Sea, and Peter Pan so we will also hopefully be riding those!

By around 5:45, I'd like to line up for the Seven Dwarfs meet! We met them last year at MNSSHP but mom would really like to meet them again, and I wouldn't mind either!

After that I want to try and do as many character greets as I can. Obviously I don't know yet who exactly will be meeting. I wasn't really nervous about a lot of changes but after seeing the changes at MNSSHP, I'm wondering what MVMCP will bring! I really hope Mary Poppins & Bert meet again because they are high priority!

By 9pm I'd like for us to be on Main Street to find a spot for Celebrate the Magic and Wishes! After that we will head towards Frontierland to find a spot for the parade. I want us to watch the last Celebrate the Season Castle Show at 11:20 so not sure if we will have time to do anything after the parade or not so we'll see what happens. If Rapunzel and Flynn are still meeting together during parties (though I'm kind of doubting this), I'd REALLY like to try and meet them again but I'm not sure if we will have time. I'm trying to keep my wish list low, because I know how fast the parties go and this year we are only attending 1 party as opposed to 2.

Since we are going to the third party of the season, information about the parties will only be coming out just as we are heading down there! I'll definitely be stalking the boards/Kenny's site so I can have as much info as possible when our party night arrives. Totally different from my MNSSHP experiences last year, where I was fully prepared with all my info well in advance

But I'm really looking forward to this night!! ​

I was on vacation so I was a little behind on the Dis. Back to your FP+ selections, I think they are great! Can't wait to hear what you think of SDMT! I had some that "overlapped" too, but everything worked out fine. Some of it may be that the rides are far apart, so they want to let you know you'll need travel time, etc. I always found thought that if we went to a ride right at the beginning of a FP+ timeframe, we had a lot of time to kill in between that and the next one that was beginning at the next hour. So I think you'll be fine.

Your Pool day + MVMCP sounds really fun! I'd love to meet the dwarfs! I hope you get to again. Mary Poppins & Bert would be cool too! Rapunzel and Flynn are high on my list, but I know they only meet during the parties and I haven't made it to one of those since 2010.
