I think my head is going to explode

UGH I hate head colds.

Yesterday had a scratchy throat. Woke up this morning completly congested.

Have A/P Lecture today, A/P Lab Practical today, and a Psych exam tomorrow.

I emailed my a/p professor and said I didnt think it was fair for me to come in and breath on the same microscopes as my classmates during the practical so I moved that till Monday.

I called my doc, and asked what was the best over the counter kick this thing outta my head now drug, and she said to get
Mucinex, formerly a prescription...she said get it and take 2, it will keep it from going to my chest, which will really kick me in the butt.

So off i went and purchased the HORSE pills...600mg lets hope it works cause I can not afford to miss another class tomorrow...and I need to absorb some of what I'm trying to study.....

Anyone taken Mucinex before?

Yeah I took it with the carbon copy of the cold you have. I am very sensitive to medication and it appeared to knock me for a loop. I only took one so, whether it was the cold or the medication, I'll never know. I'm not taking it again though.

Mine went to bronchitis so I was on antibiotics. Now even 5 days after I stopped those, I'm still congested off and on. While I'm feeling a bit better each day, I just want it to be gone! This is a nasty bug. Take care.
