I guess I will start with the basics.....

Weather? Cold!!!!!!!
This was our fourth family trip to Disney World. We usually go for Mardi Gras but we decided to go at Christmas time this trip. We wanted to see Disney decorated for Christmas. It was beautiful!!! But soooooooo Cold.

Day one

We left home and got about a mile and a half away when I realized I forgot my jacket. We had to turn around to go back to get it. I was not too popular in the car after that.
The trip went smooth the only time I needed my paddle was when... I had to climb over the seats to threaten Brennan with it. I was wishing I had a tranquilizer gun to shoot him with so he would sleep for the rest of the trip. He complained all the way to Florida.
We checked into our room and headed to Chef Mickey's for dinner. I got a little too excited when it was time to twirl the napkins in the air. I didn't realize mine was in my food so when I lifted it to teach Grace how to twirl it I flung mashed potatoes and gravy in my left eye. Grace then swung hers with all the gusto she had and whipped me in my right eye. I left the restaurant with a whelp across the side of my right eye. Fun fun fun..........
We had a early morning planned for Magic Kingdom. Grace enjoyed her monorail ride and character dinner. We had a great first night and start to our trip.

UGH!!! We were there the week before you all and it was FREEZING then too!!! I was so disappointed! But we made the best of it... I love Disney during the Holiday's all the decor makes the place so much more magical, but trust me I made a mental note... NO more Disney in December! We'll just have to enjoy the holiday decor in November when its a tad bit warmer!

It sure did happen !! Burrrrrrrr we froze our go go's off

I forgot to mention Courtney just started college last fall. Her first semester ended on Friday adn we left on Saturday for this trip. We had to move her out of her dorm and pack for vacation all in the same week.

Funny Grace story...............

Yesterday Grace was in the tub and I was fixing my hair. She said, "Put down the brush, Momma, its hopeless" Sometimes I just can't believe the nerve of a little three and a half year old girl......

I just wanted to share some pictures of the dresses I made Grace for our trip. I worked so hard sewing and most of her dresses ended out being worn covered up with a big coat because it was so cold. I was disappointed.........
