I think I just scored a good deal on a minivan with priceline! Tell me I did...

I need a mini van for presidents week Feb 13-20th and prices are nuts! For the hell of it I tried Priceline. I put 20.00 a day for a minivan thinking it would get rejected. BUT it didn't!! I got a minivan for those dates with Budget for a total of 243.71 for the week. I think that is a good price considering all the prices I have seen and Budget is a pretty decent company right? How did I do???

Seems like a great rate (time will tell as the date approaches if you could have done better...or not).
Nice thing is that you can cross this off your "to do" list as you now have your car rental locked in and taken care of.
Since Priceline is a prepaid rental, you will have been billed and paid off the rental before you leave on vacation also. So one less bill to come after you arrive back home after the vacation (helps with the vacation budgeting)

Extremely great price. Most of the times I have priced out minivans this year the cost for Sat-Sat has been over $600.

Seems pretty good, I was able to book a minivan for the week of Thanksgiving, 11/21-11/28, with Alamo using the $30 Visa coupon, and the Costco code so I get the additional driver for free $215. I started out a lot higher I just tried different codes along the way and finally landed at the $215. We are flying into MCO though, I see you are flying into Tampa
