Yes, it is still there -- kinda. If you wnat to call it an airport. They use it a lot now for commercial vehicle parking.

Anyone who has ridden a bus from POR/POFC or Ft Wilderness would know this, the bus drivers talk about it when you drive by (if you get a talkative bus driver)

We found out about this last year's trip by mistake! Our bus driver for some reason took a wrong turn and decided he wanted to show us a secret while turning around. He took us through the area and told us about it being an airport etc. It was really interesting!
