I think I am falling in love... with BWV. Do I even have a chance for 10/4-10/9?

Got my daughter's boyfriend to commit so I get to look at really doing this! I know it is almost 7 months out here in 10 days and I don't see anyone renting BWV at the moment but if I don't see anyone renting BVW before then I plan to rent from someone once I hit 7 months. With its proximity to Epcot and HS I wonder if it is just too popular and I should be looking at a second, third or even 4th choice? I am pretty flexible on dates. I would need two studio rooms to add more drama to all this. Fingers crossed I am the only person that wants to stay there!

Look at option 2 and 3. Slim to no chance of renting 2 studios at BWV for October at the 7 month mark.

I put your chances of a studio at BWV during those dates between “slim” and “none”. In addition to F&W and proximity to Epcot and HS, you’ve also got the start of the 50th anniversary celebration. Studios have been booked up for months at the most popular resorts. You’ll only find scattered single nights for the entire month of October at BWV. Time to seriously consider your second, third and fourth choices.

BWV studios need to be booked 11 months out for Fall.

Resorts that typically have studio availability at 7 mo are SSR, AKV, and OKW. You can certainly try anywhere you want, but be prepared to stay in one of those or change your plans.

I like OKW too.. and was talking to someone about BLT availability, and it is available.. wondering if I want to pay that much more for it though. I know OKW would be cheaper than BWV anyway. Thanks for giving me a heads up, I dont want to push the trip to 11 months so we will make do. My shopoholic daughter would like the boat to DS at least!

You are still coming during F&W. BWV is an 11 month/home resort booking all of fall. Two studios at 7 months is a unicorn even for an owner because we can only book them one at a time, so by the time we even get the first if we can at all a second is unlikely to be available.

I really had pie in the sky thoughts then! Well will be happy to be there and staying at the nicest place we have stayed (if I pretend WL didn't happen 10 years ago) is the current plan. Thank you all so much for waking me up to reality!

As noted , it is usually difficult to get BWV at 7-months out during the Fall and the 50th adds to that problem. And that is true of a number of resorts. Nevertheless, future availability may actually depend on how fast things change tin relation to covid. If three or four months from now it appears that WDW may still have covid restriction issues come the fall, you could see a wave of cancellations occur for the fall, possibly providing some BWV availability.

If you like the location... I certainly do... have you considered Swan or Dolphin? For me, I find them excellent alternatives when Epcot resorts are booked.
