UPDATE TIME!!!
Day 2-
On this morning we had breakfast reservations at Crystal Palace. I had never been to Crystal Palace before(I know gasp), so I was looking forward to trying it. Our reservation time was before the park opened so we got to walk down a virtually empty Main Street, which was really cool. We had some time so we stopped at a couple of photopass photographers on the way.
When we got to Crystal Palace, we checked in and they asked if we were celebrating anything, and I said yes a birthday. We waited maybe 10 minutes and we were called in. It was so cute in there. I wish I could find our receipt cause it has our servers name on it but I seemed to misplace just that receipt. Anyway our server was really really nice. Here is a picture of our table:
Since we hadn't been there before our server explained how the buffet worked and where everything was. So we went up to get our food.
My 1st plate
From left to right, bagel, croissant, and fruit. If I remember correctly the bagel was hard and they had the cream cheese sitting out too long so I didn't eat much of that. The croissant was good, nice and fluffy. The fruit was delicious, I love fruit and don't eat it that often because DH doesn't eat it and I don't like buying stuff and then it goes to waste.
DH's 1st Plate
Sausage, mickey waffles, biscuit, and bacon. He liked everything, he didn't really tell me much more, you know how guys are so descriptive, lol.
Then the characters started coming around, we got some good character interaction with the autograph book that I made before the trip.
So as I was eating Tigger snuck up on me and scared the you know what out of me, I literally yelped when he came up. He came up behind and as I was turning my head, there was Tigger and scared me half to death, one of the pictures below you will see me turning my head and I was quite surprised.
After the characters were done, DH and I went up for another plate, for some reason we didn't get a picture of DH plate but I'm pretty sure he got the same kind of stuff.
Stuffed french toast, potato caserol, and bacon.
I like the stuffed french toast but I thought it was going to be like what it is at Cinderella's Castle with the cream cheese inside, so I was a little disappointed but that's ok, it was still really good and I recommend that you try it. The potato caserol wasn't my style and I probably wouldn't get it again. The bacon was ok but I like my bacon pretty much burned and this was a little rubbery for my taste.
All in all we had a great experience and we will be back next trip. The service was great, the food was great, and the atmosphere was great.
Like I said above, I can't find my receipt but I was thinking it was $41 for the both of together. We used 1 dining credit each for this meal.
Pinnochio's
We decided to go quick here for lunch, when you are on the deluxe dining plan you don't get as much bang for your buck at a counter service place but that's ok, pizza sounded good to us. We both got the pepperoni pizza and they both come with salad and dessert and a drink. DH doesn't eat salad so I ate both of those. In our honest opinion we will not be coming back here, the pizza was really gross, not like the other pizza places around the World. I didn't like my dessert either which was the strawberry cheesecake, DH chocolate cake was better. We will NOT be going back here.
It was $30.61 for the both of us.
Up next...ESPN Club(surprise for DH)
