I've seen your posts on FB and have felt terrible for you. It's one thing to have all that happen at any time, but I can only imagine how stressed you are considering how close the trip is. I'm sorry to hear that you're not excited about the trip, but I can certainly understand. I'm praying that things start looking up for you and that you all feel 100% very, very soon!
Thanks. It's definitely bad timing. Alex keeps mentioning that I could've gotten sick any of the 11 other months out the year, but that's just bad luck coming into play.

Wow... I feel your pain. Literally. DS had that in July 2012. And subsequently gave it to me.![]()
It cleared up for him after only a couple of days. I was home from work for a week before it finally cleared up. And I don't think I've ever felt as miserable and awful as I did that week. I couldn't stand to eat because of the mouth/throat part, I had a ridiculously high fever and just generally felt like crap. On the bright side, it was during the Olympics, so I at least got to sit around the house and watch a lot of things I'd never see otherwise.![]()
Anyway, I feel your pain. Take care of yourself and get well soon. It does seem to be slow to go away, but I'm sure you'll be fine in time for the trip.![]()
Hand, Foot, Mouth is awful. I used to work in a childcare center, so I knew kids get it pretty easily. But I never expected to come down with it. I felt kind of ridiculous telling people what was wrong with me.

Keeping my fingers crossed for you to feel better! As long as you are feeling good on vacation, the house can be cleaned when you get home.![]()
Thanks! Yeah, at this point, packing is much more important than cleaning.
