My Beach crocs were ever-so-slightly too small. I put them in the dryer on high for about 5 minutes, and then wore them with 2 pairs of socks to stretch them. I read that tip somewhere on the Dis boards. It works.

Now my crocs are too big and they flop all over the place. What a bummer. I can't figure out how to tighten the strap, so I guess I ruined the shoes.

I did the same thing! I e-mailed Crocs to ask them about it, but haven't heard back yet. :guilty: I'm curious to see what others say about it.

I'm doubly bummed because I got this pair really really cheap ($15) so it's going to disappoint me if I have to pay full price for another pair.

Don't ya just hate a floppy croc :teeth:

A floppy croc is a sloppy croc. I don't like it.

Marseeya, let me know if you hear anything from the company. If you do buy another pair, you might want to try the Caymans. They are like the Beaches in style, though they come in whole sizes rather than in S, M, and L. I bought a Cayman pair and the fit is much better than that Beach style I ruined.

I got my first pair about a week ago and loved them so much I went out and bought another pair from Dillards yesterday!

You can put them in the dryer again but this time don't put 2 pairs of socks on under the Crocs. Just wear them barefoot and wiggle your toes a little bit. Every time you warm them up they get all soft and squishy and actually shrink up a little bit. When you put them on while they are warm, they will stretch to pretty much whatever size you force them to stretch to (more socks equals bigger Crocs). If you just put them on barefoot or with one pair of thin socks they will cool to the size of your foot with with a little bit of "wiggle-room". Good luck! Let us know how it turns out!

Wow! I didn't know that I might be able to re-shape them again.

Do you think this would work even if the strap barely (if at all) touches my heel now? I might give it a try.

Thanks for the information!

When you re-warm your Crocs push the strap up over the shoe when you put the warm shoes on to cool. This way the straps won't stretch out again around your heel and they should shrink up a bit as they are cooling. After the shoes are cool, if the clog part is fitting the way you like it but the straps are again just a tad tight when you pull them down, just gently stretch them with your hands right at the part where they say, "CROCS". A few gentle tugs is usually enough to stretch them. Good luck!

I finally got around to trying this and my Crocs shrank back into place nicely! I'd even bent the edge of the heel the first time I did it, and I was able to fix that little mistake too.

:thumbsup2

I put mine back in the dryer, too. They did shrink! The fit is pretty good now. Thank you so much for the tip. :thumbsup2
