What's wrong with me????
I've been trying off and on for several days to get this eyelet setter to work. It's the one from Wal Mart called M'Bellish brand, and I don't know if it's me or the setter. I even got a setter for grommets in the sewing section at Wal Mart (small town--only thing here
). It states on the package it works with 1/8" grommets, so shouldn't it work with eyelets too? NO!! All it does is eat up the bottom part of the eyelet, and then the top part gets stuck around the point on the setter.
I'm ready to pull my hair out!
I called a scrapbooking store that's an hour away from me and asked if they sold setters. "No, we don't. We only sell the eyelets." Okay, so I asked if she knew where people found the setters at. "No, we only sell the eyelets."
Do you see where this is going? I mean, they sell all kinds of scrapbook things, but don't know anything about where to get something to set the eyelets (that are sold in their store) with. I'm just going around in circles I guess. Michael's is not an option until this weekend. Do they sell something there that works?
I went back and ran a search on setting eyelets, and it seems as though most of ya'll order online. I wish I could get this crazy thing to work that I already have. All it does it tear the eyelets up and misshapes them.
