YAY! I'm so excited! I've been trying for weeks to get something there for our upcoming trip the first week of May. Then all of a sudden....poof....there it was today. Please tell me what your favorites are on the menu.:goodvibes

If you got a dinner, no one really knows what the menu will look like. It is switchin to a signature for dinner in less than a month. This might also be the reason why it was an issue to get an ADR. Many have said that they haven't been able to do it online, but had no problems if they called.

The mushroom filet is a signature, and for good reason. It's so, so good. We went to Le Cellier in November and my friend got it, in an attempt to be different and just because I like to go against the grain I ordered the Coffe Rubbed steak.

What I ordered was also really great but very different, it was MUCH bigger than the filet and much thicker. The flavor was awesome, it really was, but tasting his I wish I had gotten the signature Mushroom Filet.

As for the dessert, they were both "just okay" I got some sort of cobbler and he got a chocolate mouse. The were fine, but nothing special.

Thats my two cents. maybe someone else has more info.

Congrats!

I was just checking for an Ohana ADR for March 11th for 2 people - it's not available but there is Le Cellier for 8:50pm that day.

As another poster wrote, nobody knows what the Le Cellier dinner menu will look like in May, when the restaurant transforms into a signature experience. Reports that have surfaced say the menu will become more sophisticated, which should translate to better-quality food.

Ooooh! I didn't know they were becoming a signature dining experience. That may actually be really good. I've never been, so therefore I wouldn't miss anything if the menu changed. But I'm sure those loyal followers may be a bit worried about menu changes. Thanks everyone for your quick responses!

The same thing happened to us for the first week of May. I wasn't looking for it but I bet that there were about 10 different dinner times over the course of the week that were available. I bet they were just released. But either way congratulations!

I should've figured something was up. But I'm going to celebrate anyways!:goodvibes The last time we were at Disney, we had to cancel our ressie here due to illness. This time no matter what we'll be going!:thumbsup2

ETA: Even if they do change the menu, I hope they keep the Mushroom Filet. I've been lurking on the food porn thread and it looks REALLY good! Also that cheese soup...yum!

What's the excitement over this place. We've eaten there many times in the past and it's OK, never bad, but never great or anything. Is this just a case of its tough to get so everyone wants it???:confused3

I thought something was up... I just got one too, at 7:35 pm the first week of may. Then I checked and there were more available. I thought it was already a signature though? I guess I was wrong. We don't care though, we are not on the DDP.

Just snagged one myself for March 12th at 8:25 PM. Can't wait to see the new menu for dinner.

I also snagged one yesterday for March 12 (my birthday) for 7:50 and I'm really curios as to what the menu will look like... as long as the keep the soup thats all I really care about... its the one and only table service I'm doing I'm making sure I put aside about $70 for dinner (yes I know thats quite a bit of money for one person but its my birthday dinner so I don't care :thumbsup2 )

They just opened up Le cellier for online booking. Before you had to call that why its always said unavailable before. I love the new updated system.

There are definitely more ressies available now. A few weeks ago I looked for one for our trip the 2nd week of May, and was only able to get 2:25pm - that was the only one available for our entire stay. I just checked again today, and found multiple openings during our stay. I was able to get one for 5:50pm instead. :cool1: Even if the menu changes, I'm sure it will still be delicious. We've been twice and loved it! :thumbsup2
