Can I use my Disney Visa Rewards Dollars at all the Downtown Disney stores and restaurants? I've got $450 in rewards dollars that I want to use at Earl of Sandwich, House of Blues, McDonalds, and Ghiradelli. I'll also use some to buy souvineers, but I really want to use it for food since we are eating no meals at the parks or hotels (I'm boycotting Disney's food).

As far as I know, every DTD shop and restaurant takes Disney gift cards and the reward cards.

Because Pete from the Dis Podcast told me to!!!

Actually I had put the boycott on them before Pete told me to because we scheduled our trip for what we thought was going to be the week before free dining, but it turned out to be the first week of free dining. Well, rather than trying to compete with the free dining plan people for ressies (as well as the fact the restaurants will be a zoo that week) we just decided to eat everything off-site. Plus it will save us a huge amount of money eating off-site.

And now that Disney has raised the dining plan prices there's no chance I'll ever buy the dining plan because I don't feel the value is there. That's my opinion though.

That's good to know! I'm still trying to figure out how I feel about free dining (which is a nice way of saying I don't like it).

Whew! I'm glad you found that. I could have sworn I remembered using it at the Art of Disney store, and I was planning on using it there again next time.
Also, I thought I'd used it once at the Days of Christmas store.
