So Sunday morning we leave for DLR and here I sit on the DIS boards when I should be either packing or cleaning the house. Nothing better than coming home to a spotless house after a week long vacation at DLR. But I have no energy to do anything, I'm worrying about the flight (not a huge fan of flying...go figure and it's just barely over an hour long for us).
I feel like I'm forgetting things so I keep making lists and not doing anything on them.
So I guess I should get my behind in gear and at least get a few things on my list crossed off.

A HUGE thank you though to everyone though that offered tips/advice....especially Dangermouse and Molly!!! :grouphug:
I will return with lots of pictures, and hopefully wonderful stories to share.

I hope you have a wonderful trip!:goodvibes The past few trips I have been on I have been just like you not wanting to do anything, but having fun on the boards. I found that the last time, last year when we went to DLR and WDW that waiting until the last minute worked wonders for me!:rotfl: I had to get things done then and I didn't forget anything because I had it fresh in my mind plus I didn't have to unpack the suitcases a hundred times to see if I already packed it or not. :confused3 Which I do when I pack way to early I find myself repacking and recounting outfits for the kids and everything else. Have a great time and I can't wait to hear all about it when you return!

That flight will go by so fast, you won't have time to stress out;)
Have a wonderful trip!

I'm in the same boat as you but I leave tomorrow at noon. I still haven't packed yet :scared1: ...I get distracted easily by this board.

That's so me too....I got some stuff together the other day and found myself going through and re-organizing everything I had gotten togther. It's hard trying to keep stuff out to wear still the next day AND to the airport. Ok really it isn't that hard I guess, I'm just read to get there.

For those of you traveling soon, a few of us have started a photopass share if you are interested in joining up with us. Let me know. And have lots of fun and takes lots of pics to share! :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

I'm with you. We leave in two weeks and I have so much to do! Yet, I sit here, wasting time... :rolleyes1

Have a great trip! :goodvibes

It seems like my story of when we go on vacation. We leave out of San Francisco when we go and it is only around a hour flight and I am always stressed. It seems like by the time you get a drink and open a magazine and you are there. I hate flying but every time we drive on I-5 it is ENDLESS to me!
I always make list to remember and mark off what I need and got packed up. Always remember that there are targets and other stores around to shop if needed if you forget something. Don't stress out to much. I guess easier said then done. I always stress out and I am so tired that I miss a day of disney..I end up walking around like a zombie on the haunted mansion around the park.
Anyways..... have fun!

I know this is OT but I see in your signature that your son had heart surgery on the 2/22, how did that go? I hope he is alright :)

Have a wonderful trip, and try not to stress out too much about flying. Not that I have much room to talk, we drive the 10 hours when we'd have a short flight too. LOL

I actually like to pack closer to the last minute. Otherwise I do everything too early and the last day or so creeps on by! Have fun! :)

Hope you and ds have a supercalifragilisticexpialidocious time!

Can't wait to hear all about it when you get back! :goodvibes
