I saw "Treasure Planet" and...

I liked it! It had a lot of great action and good characters. I wondered why it bombed at the box office. I give it one thumb and one pinky up!

We liked it too, Barry. I thought it was a creative adaptation of Robert Louis Stevenson's "Treasure Island". And the action animation was pretty cool!

Disney didn't advertise it enough. And there weren't any princesses in it.

We have a 9 yr old son and we thought it was great, especially for boys since most of the Disney movies are girl movies.

We liked it! Got it on DVD. It just had no princesses or Broadway-type soundtrack. Maybe that's why people avoided it.

I too was surprised at how good it was considering how bad it did at the box office...my family really enjoyed it!!

I didn't like the trailer for it and wasn't expecting much, but I really liked it too. Maybe a better trailer would have helped.

We saw it at the theatre and really liked it.
And then pre-ordered the DVD.
TP had too much competition when it was released. And then it wasn't promoted as it should have been.

My boys loved this movie. We've seen in about 20 times since we bought it, always a good indicator that a movie is a hit around our house.

The story was ok (I was distracted by the concept of space with a breathable atmosphere), but the animation was gorgeous. Also, I fell in love with Morph.

We took our kids to see it and everyone, including the adults, really liked it. I'm going to try to wait to get the DVD as a Christmas present. They could have done a better job promoting it. I think they promoted Cinderella 2 more than TP!
