I saw somewhere what rooms had what views at AKV can you tell me where

I thought someone said Standard view had a savannah view. I requested that but she said can't request cause they don't have it. I saw a thread that told us where the stan view rooms were like what floors and what areas can you tell me where to see that

Yes, for a standard view villa you could request pool view. For a value villa, you could request pool view or even savanna view.

There will be four possible views from an AKV room: savanna, pool, garden or parking lot. Savanna View rooms will have a view of a savanna. A Standard View room will have any of the other three views (pool, garden or parking lot), in other words, a view OTHER THAN a savanna.

Jambo House also has Value villas. They are smaller but can have any view: savanna, pool or parking lot. In fact, in Jambo House all of the parking lot view rooms will be Value rooms. So the Standard View rooms in Jambo House will all be pool or garden views.

Yes the Standard View rooms are converted deluxe rooms. I think the website lists them as 365 sq ft and the studios in Kidani as 366 sq ft. The Value studios are 316 sq ft because they are the converted standard-size AKL rooms.

ETA: All of the villas in Jambo House are converted from AKL rooms. The Concierge, Savanna View and Standard View villas are converted deluxe-size AKL rooms so those villas are all the same size. The Value villas are converted standard-size AKL rooms so they are smaller than the other three villa types.

I booked a AKV st view for nov /dec 07. according to the const map with the dots and dashes the parking lot views will not be available till around MAY 08 in JAMBO HOUSE, right? If so then were are all the standard views in the Map. I see nothing near the parking lots except the red dashes. I'm I missing something or are these views for the new DVC building.

I believe the Standard View room you reserved will be somewhere in the pool area.

At AKV there are two general view categories: savanna and standard, where standard is anything that's not a view of a savanna: it could be a view of the pool, garden or parking lot. Jambo House will also have a special category of rooms called Value rooms which are smaller than the other rooms. There are some Value rooms that face the Sunset Savannah and the rest have a standard view (pool or parking lot -- I don't think there are any that could be called garden view). As it turns out, all of the rooms that face the parking lot are these smaller Value rooms. So at Jambo House, I believe all of the rooms classified as "Standard View" will have views of some part of the pool area. Kidani Village will not have any Value rooms so the Standard View rooms there will face the pool, garden or parking lot.

As originally scheduled, the standard views that will be available in Nov would likely only be those about the pool area. However, I am not sure whether that schedule they are showing on the site is really what will exist then. They just announced concierge rooms will be available Dec 1. That creates a question to which I do not know the answer. The concierge rooms were listed in the map/schedule as part of the phase to be completed last at Jambo for a May 2008 opening. Are they now saying they are speeding up the completion of the concierge rooms or saying that the entire conversion is way ahead of schedule and thus most everything will be ready by Dec, meaning standard view could be somewhere else rather than the just around the pool?

The only Standard view rooms at Jambo House (current AKL) are the rooms on the zebra trail that face the pool. There were roughly ~30 deluxe pool view rooms at AKL that were converted to villas.
