I said Ohana, not Obama!!!! - A BFF's do NYE TR **UPDATE 11/4 Pg. 38**

I'm home alone tonight, and this update with your face about Tigger's questionable paw placement literally made me cackle out loud!

I also got your Bring It On reference. There MUST be some Clovers in the atmosphere (I said brr).

I need some friends. LOL

Crystal Palace is one of our favorite places to go - breakfast or dinner. pooh: :tigger: :eeyore:
We like to be able to get empty Main Street pictures at a before park opening ADR.
So glad Farrell was delighted with the experience. That's what you want when you take people to WDW. :thumbsup2

Strange that that CM didn't want to let you in!!! :confused3 I'm glad you guys enjoyed your breakfast at CP! Farrell looks absolutely thrilled to meet the Winnie the Pooh crew!! :goodvibes

Wow, I hope that first CM thought to ask her manager later that day about the incident in a "Hey guess what, some lady wanted me to let her in early for a breakfast reservation! Nuts huh?" way and her manager gave her heck for it.
Now I'm wondering how tall Ferrell is because I was smaller than Piglet too. hehehe
Great breakfast pictures!

Questionable hand placement????? :rotfl:

I have only one TS meal scheduled for the 5 days that my brother and his family are in the world and CP breakfast is it!!!!!!!! :cool1: I, too, just love the characters at that meal. Of course, with 4 nephews in the pictures I guess I won't be copping a feel from anyone! :rotfl: You have no idea how I am excited to see their reaction to the characters! Especially the youngest one!

How could that CM possibly not know yall could go in for your reservation? Omg. Why do we all know more than her and it's her JOB? Goodness. I'm glad you were just like "okay forget you" and went on hahaha.

Why is Crystal Palace the best!? It just is. YUM and WOW. OH TIGGER. Hahaha we noticed that Tigger was a big flirt too! Hmm...

Well, if you need some friends, then I definitely do too. Bring it On was great. :rotfl:

It was your TR's that made me want to get this reservation! I kept seeing it and I was like "okay, then I need to go for sure".

I knew in my heart that Farrell would love Disney World, but it was even better than I ever imagined.

It was so bizarre. I think she was just crazy. :lmao:

Great breakfast pictures!

That would have been awesome if that happened! Then it would be like "um, let's have a talk about your lack of knowledge"....

Farrell is about 5' 1" ish. Pretty small. I have about 9 inches on her. We make a very funny pair.

Great choice for your breakfast! I love the reactions of young ones to characters! We're planning our trip for next summer with Jason and the kids, so I'm very much looking forward to making the reservations built around what they would like.

I know, it's a sad state of affairs. I should be the trainer of WDW. Anything they need to know, I already do, so there would be no reason the train me! :rotfl:

I said YUM and WOW about five times. ;)

Yayyy I'm 5'1" too! :rotfl: We're piglet height!

How bizarre that the CM was so adamant that you couldn't go to your ADR. Glad you found someone with more sense! And Tigger better watch where he puts those paws of his! :rotfl:

Pfftbahaha I love your face in the Tigger pic! :lmao: I also love how genuinely happy Farrell looks in these pictures. I'm a huge fan of Winnie the Pooh too.

Wow..that wasn't great luck with the cm at the gate, as if they didn't know that?! Weird.
AAAAHHHHH I'M SO JEALOUS YOU GOT A CHOCOLATE MICKEY WAFFLE!!!!
They had them last may when we were there for breakfast, and I LOVE LOVE LOVED them and was SO excited for them again on this past april trip...and they didn't HAVE THEM WHAT?!!? I was outraged..okay..maybe not outraged, but saddened.

Looks like breakfast was a lot of fun!

That picture is my favorite, I look so weird and suspicious. :lmao:

Farrell's face is my favorite thing in all those pictures. I mean, we had been having a great time up until that point, but this really tipped it over the edge.

Words cannot describe how absolutely thrilled I was when I saw there was a chocolate waffle. I was like "get out of town!" It was super yummy. But the fact that it wasn't there in April for you is depressing. I would have been very sad.

All caught up on this one too!

I love Bring it On. I'll even sit through the terrible sequels because I love the first one so much.

Tigger was getting fresh with you! Too funny:lmao:

Bring it On is such a great movie. My friends and I used to watch it constantly when it first came out.

"This is a cheerocracy!" I should watch it now come to think about it. :rotfl:

Been reading along..this is great!popcorn::

Glad to have you along! :goodvibes

Doing a bit of a catch-up... nearly a month later lol

I'm sorry to hear about the temperature drop on your fourth day. It always amazes me when people mention about how cold Florida can get and then I think, "Are you kidding me?" I live in New Hampshire so warm starts about 60 degrees, 50 at times, while people down near the equator are more to say 70 or 80 is warm. But again, with that said, in Disney, it's better to have weather hot enough to dry you off after many rides on Splash Mountain ;)

I can't believe how uninformed the first CM was. I'm pretty sure all CMs know about that since it is a pretty regular thing on here and with other people I know who have gone to Disney. Some people... but at least you got in without trouble and still made it to your reservation semi "On time".

YAY CRYSTAL PALACE! Totally knew it! Love all of your pictures! I've only been there at night so it's nice to see how the food selections are during breakfast hours. I could totally go for any of it ::yes:: And it's so great to see Farrell so happy around the characters, I never even knew it was possible to be shorter than Piglet (unless you are nine years old or younger...), but that's cute! LOL @ Tigger's awkward hand placement, oh you bad Tigger!

Can't wait to read more! :mickeyjum

You're so right, being cold in Florida is totally different than being cold back at home. It was kind of sad, because we had such great weather for the first few days. It did get better, but the first few days were the best ones temperature wise.

It was such fun to be there for breakfast and I was so happy that Farrell had a great time. I'll have to let her know that it's strange that she's shorter than Piglet. :lmao: Not really.

Day 4 – Tuesday January 3, 2012

How am I still only on day four of this trip? D’oh! I need to work on this for sure. I don’t think I can have it finished before my upcoming trip though. If you guys aren’t following along, I have a PTR / TR going for my trip to Disneyland Paris and Europe. It’s my “How Many Countries….” TR in my signature. Come along for the ride if you haven’t already (although, I’m pretty sure you’re all over there already. ☺ ).

We had just finished up our breakfast at Crystal Palace. To refresh your memory, this had happened….

efaab595.jpg

Haha. Oh Tigger. You naughty minx.

We headed out into the cold Magic Kingdom (seriously. It was cold. Like, 40 degrees cold). We headed into Tomorrowland with a mission:

a4680b7f.jpg

We were going to get fastpasses, but the wait time was only posted at 35 minutes. I thought: “35 minutes?! I laugh in the face of 35 minutes…..mwah ha ha ha”.

Okay, actually it was more like:

Me: I don’t think it’s going to be 35 minutes. I would be surprised if it was 20.

Farrell: Okay.

Such a long conversation, I tell you. We waited in line, and yup. The wait was only 20 minutes.

Very soon, our chariot had arrived.

9366cbbe.jpg

And we got settled.

God, what is wrong with me an the gratuitous nostril shots!? Seriously. I mean, I know my nose is upturned a little bit, but I just can’t avoid it. My brother Jason used to tell me I was the Welch’s grape juice boy. If you don’t know who he is….well:

Enjoy this video then.

Welchs Grape Juice Commercial

My brother’s so loving, isn’t he?

Okay, I digress.

Our ride was tons of fun. We had this guy in front of us that kept on turning around asking us if we were ready to go. You know, all excited like. Then he’s like “come on girls!”. Okay.

So here we are, laughing maniacally on the ride. And from behind me, a the top of her lungs, I hear Farrell…

“Hahahaha, OMG, hahaha…..AAAHHHHHH…….I’VE GOTTA PEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!”

:lmao:

Redneck ride photo alert!

So, after our fearless ride into space, where was our next stop? Duh, the Tomorrowland bathrooms! I would be a horrible friend if I didn’t take Farrell there.

Afterwards, we headed into Fantasyland and grabbed Fastpasses for Peter Pan. It’s a must do ya’ll! And seriously, I never make it on that ride anymore, because either the wait time is too long, or the fastpasses are all gone. This was not going to happen on Farrell’s first visit.

Then it was over to It’s a Small World. Farrell was all sentimental, because it was her favorite ride at Disneyland when she was a kid.

So we’re waiting in line, and the mom of the family behind us is cracking us up. See, her two boys kept saying to her “how long’s the wait?” The dad said “15 minutes”. To which the mom turns around, glares at all of them with her angry eyes and says, “I don’t care if the wait time says an hour and 15 minutes, we are waiting to get on this ride, because this is the only thing I asked to do on this trip. I’ve been waiting to ride this again since I was 18 years old. SUCK IT UP!”

That….was…..so…..AWESOME!

I’m on a boat!

After we got that blasted song stuck in our head, we headed over to the Haunted Mansion, my personal favorite. There was no wait, so we headed through the interactive queue.

AND I managed to catch a picture of her with her eyes open.

Grim Grinning Ghosts come out to socialiiiiiiiizzzzzzzeeeeee.

Farrell loved it, especially the interactive queue. She commented to me how impressed she was that Disney paid attention to all of the details on everything. Folks, I think we have a Disney convert. ☺

After the Haunted Mansion, it was off to:

We wants the redhead!

Farrell requested that I take pictures of the rid while she just enjoyed it. I told her I could accommodate her request.

Farrell’s next request was the Swiss Family Treehouse. She loved it when she used to go to Disneyland. I told her this was her trip and we could do whatever she wanted to do. I hadn’t been up there in a while, so it was nice to make the trek.

Obviously, it was still cold.

Haha. I have no idea what she was doing here, but the picture is funny nonetheless.

After that, it was time to use our fastpasses at Peter Pan. We really saw the increase in the crowds here, because the fastpass line for Peter Pan was backed up really badly. I think Farrell got spoiled a little with fastpasses, because at first she balked at the line and didn’t want to wait. However, I told her that it wouldn’t be so bad. We waited about 15 minutes, so it could have been worse.

See all the people?

After this, we were both pretty cold, so we headed back to the hotel to defrost, have lunch, and then head out for our dinner reservation. We had somewhere to be. We had a dessert party to attend. ;)

OMG SPANKY! He's adorable. I don't see the resemblance between you and a little boy though, so no worries.

That mom sounds awesome. Basically yes, that is how I will interact with my children if they're not Disney fans.

Glad you got to do Peter Pan this time!
