So....as you guys already know, Danielle left me BEHIND on their last evening in WDW. Whatevs. I don't let anything keep me down. Which is why I am hijacking this one last time to show you what fun I had on my last day and give you some highlights of the trip.

As you know, Epcot was our last park. We rode Mission: Space. Let's just say....it didn't end well for me.

I decided though that if you have to endure that kind of pain, you should get a reward in the end. A very tasty slushie reward.

After our exploration around World Showcase, it was my final ride of the trip. Sucks to be me, I would have LOVED to go to the hibachi restaurant, but well. We won't talk about that. I did like to see my future though.

Now, let's talk about the highlights of this trip.

What I did not enjoy.....

Apparently I pass out a lot......I blame Danielle.

Passing out on a bus.

Passing out after partying.

Passing out in Germany.

Passing out from a Boma coma.

Passing out from the beauty that is Earl of Sandwich.

Passing out from Mission: Space.

I have NO idea how I lost my subscription to this thread. I feel awful.

I did read most of "your" posts and thoroughly enjoyed the report...you and your friend make a great team and it sounds like a grea trip.

DH and I would agree with your friend....the GF is very stuffy to us (Mark won't even go in there to eat)

Your pictures of AK's lobby our breathtaking...I do love that resort, and your dinner at Boma looks yummy.

Great pictures at the Studios...even the redneck pictures.

We are doing Teppan Edo in December...did you enjoy it?

Yeti, I'm so glad you had such a wonderful trip! Though it seems like you might want to ease up on the 'passing out'... one of these days you might find yourself waking up in a place that isn't as lovely as Disney World with no idea how you got there. Nobody wants that.

Don't worry about losing the subscription. With so many things that happened to me this summer I felt the same way for many TR's that I had been reading. No worries at all.

Farrell and I loved the whole trip and we were so glad to be able to go together. I can't wait to go together again.

GF is stuffy, but I do love the restaurants there.

I love Teppan Edo, I think you'll have a great time there. I've never had a bad meal there, the food is extremely consistent, which is always a plus.

He would likely continue to have too much to drink if I took him along on this upcoming trip.

I'm not sure when he'll be returning. I contemplated bringing him with on our November trip, but I think we'll have tons of fun with him in July on our long trip.

Catching up from August!

Yumm, what is on that Hawaiian flatbread? I am hoping to make it to Captain Cook's in December because they have so many things on the menu that entice me! It'd be so easy to hop over on the monorail when we're at MK or Epcot (of course, we have our favorites in those parks as well ...).

What a magical moment when Farrell said that she got it after the fireworks! I posted something about Disney on FB, and my older cousin was like, "There are other places to go on vacation, ya know." Why would I go elsewhere if Howard and I enjoy Disney so much? Sure, if we want a change of pace, we can go elsewhere. But we are perfectly content to experience the same magic and also discover new magic as well!

Totally agree with you about Indy in that it's so outdated. I love the movies and can watch them over and over again, but I wish there was something else in the show at DHS. One show we went to recently was really good though because the host was hysterical. I think it was the same woman who plays Oopla during Star Wars Weekends.

Oy, the story about the mashed potatoes lady at Raglan Road was just ridiculous! Haha, it's like, "Wait, why is there a lemon wedge on my plate? I mean, it's okay, but why is it there?" Some people can make such a big deal out of nothing! Glad you guys liked the restaurant. It was too much for me. It was late, and it was LOUD! Haha, not really my kind of atmosphere (at least not after a long day at the park).

I can only do the green side on Mission: Space! Haha, I can't deal with motion sickness at ALL. But based on all those warnings, I think that even if I didn't get motion sickness, I'd feel nauseous on the ride just from the anticipation due to those warnings being EVERYWHERE, haha.

The shwarma platter is something I think hubby and I should try! Yum to all those dips!

My cousins drank the "proverbial Disney water" as you said in Feb 2011 too! We did Epcot and they liked it. Then they went to visit Harry Potter too. When we picked them up, they finally understood why Howard and I LOVE Disney! They said Universal/IOA was fun (although crowded with not as tasty food), but it wasn't the whole experience. They said the Disney parks were way above Universal. Universal is a great theme park, but I just wouldn't classify WDW in the same category. It's just so wonderful when people around you finally get it too!

And yay for Yeti! Didn't realize he passed out THAT much!
