I know this is a stupid question but do you get on and ask the driver were you want to go, then pay your fare, just like you do here?

Hi Simon

Its a $1 fare for wherever you want to go. You just get on, pay the driver a $1 (or put it in his machine!) and get off where you need too.

The other option is to buy weekly/fortnightly pass but not sure how much these are as only ever paid a $1!! I am sure someone will be able to give you more info on the passes.

Have fun

Claire

If you are going to be using the IRide frequenly then the passes work out very good value for money.

You can get a number of passes from:
1 day - $3
3 days - $5
5 days - $7
7 days - $9
14 days - $16

We always get the passes as it saves us so much money. Hope thats of some use. :)

To get on an I-Ride trolley just wait at your nearest stop and hold you hand out when you see it coming. To get off you rind the bell when you are approaching your stop (or the last time we went on the driver insisted on you shouting 'yee-haa' to stop LOL).

Check the routes on the I-Ride website:

http://www.iridetrolley.com/visitorInformation/maps.asp

Most hotels sell the passes en route sell the passes.

Oh yeah, you gotta love the crazy drivers, they make the ride even more fun! If you are staying on I-Drive, then it is well worth getting the passes. We just get the 14-day one and get millions of trips out of it!

The Lynxs buses are also good too, just remember to ask for a transfer ticket if you're going on another bus. I know we went to Florida Mall once, which is two different buses, and paid for each seperately, since we did not know a scheme existed cos we don't have anything like that in the UK - the UK just make you pay twice!

thanks for the replies, yep will be buying a multi pass, I dont mind shouting out 'yee-haa' to stop, makes the holiday even more fun.

:thumbsup2We love the I-Ride Trolley it's great for getting around the area without a car and the drivers are fantastic BTW it goes to and from Seaworld and has stops at the Premuim Outlets LBV too...check out the website, I think kids were free last time we used it they might still be free:thumbsup2
