Hey guys! Well we are leaving tonight after DF gets off work to go to Seaworld! But the percent chance of rain is 50% on one site and 90% on another. :guilty: Anyone in the area know any more details? What would we do at Seaworld if it rains the whole time? We are there until Sunday, I was thinking even though we would have to leave earlier than closing time on Sunday should we just go on that day and do something else all day Saturday? Or do you think we could manage going on Saturday? I am just wondering if it will really rain all day long or if it would be an on-off thing, and rides would open in between. Ugh :confused3

TIA! :flower3:

How did things work out for you? We're leaving today to fly to SAN, planning on visiting Legoland tomorrow. POP for tomorrow ...90 %. Accuweather is saying 5 hours of rain. Tomorrow is the only day we have free for Legoland because it's closed Tues and Wed and DH is tied up in meetings on Thurs and Fri.

I think we have to go even if it rains. The kids have been so looking forward to Legoland. We have raincoats and will bundle up (supposed to be cold and windy tomorrow too). I hope there are some indoor activities and that not too much shuts down because of the rain.

Sorry I saw this a little late, I hope you are having a fun time on your trip though :)

For anyone else who'd like to know, the rain was so light that it didn't fall straight down, it flurried down like snow. Haven't seen that before. It was not too bad. One thing I strongly recommend is to go to Target in the camping section, get there $1.47 ponchos. They work great for water rides and to lay over the seats when they are wet. We each had one and we were glad we did. The Seaworld ponchos were $8 each I think, so we saved a lot of money there.

When the rain did get a little heavy at times we would just hang out a little longer in the inside exhibits. It kept crowds away though so we were able to get everything in the park done by 2pm, starting at 10am. Overall we had a great time. The Pets Rule show was probably my favorite even though it was modified. I just love dogs and I am glad to hear that they are all adopted from the shelters. :dog2:
