I really hate needing valid tix on your acct to make FP+ selections

I'm an annual passholder and have loved pre booking our FP+. But I really hate that you have to have a tix on your acct before making FP+ selections. So my APs expire right before I arrive. I need to get my new APs at guest relations because I have 2 day unused tix to apply to the cost of the APs. So they won't allow me to do that over the phone. So now, I can't book my FP+ until I get there

Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks.

I'm so not an expert about any of this, including APs, but could you link your unused two day ticket to your MDE account? Would that work, or would you only get to book two days of FP+ that way?

Good thought. That is what I currently have. The 2 days are linked to my account and I have 2 days of FPs scheduled so far.

I'm sure they do this so that people who don't have tickets (and won't have tickets) can't draw on the limited pool of FP and force an actual ticketed guest out of a slot.

Would it be cost-effective for you to purchase tickets for the rest of your vacation now, and then apply the cost of all the tickets to your AP? Are you allowed to do that?

No you can't do that. One ticket only can be used to upgrade.

There's really no way around it at this time unless the OP wants to buy an additional longer ticket to,upgrade and keep the 2 days for the future. I have the same problem, but I have a 6 day ticket. But I have a 10 say trip. So I won't be able to book all my days for FPs until I arrive and upgrade to the AP.
